Sunday Stamps! #155

Hello, crafty friends! It's time for another fun challenge at Sunday Stamps!. This week we are working with a color challenge using some vibrant summer colors.

We do not list specific color names so you are free to interpret the colors for yourself.  They do not have to be from Stampin' UP! but please remember to use at least three colors in your project. :)

I decided to make a floral birthday card using the new Happy Birthday Gorgeous stamp set.  The Stampin' UP! colors I used are: Smoky Slate, Wild Wasabi, Flirty Flamingo, Real Red and Berry Burst.

I love the font in this stamp set, and I love the fact that this stamp set is photopolymer so that I can easily line up my stamped images for creating this floral arrangement.

Card supplies:

I am excited to add the Pinewood Plank Impressions Embossing Folder and Decorative Ribbon Border punch to my collection of new accessories from the Stampin' UP! catalog. :)

I also love the new washi tape collections being offered in this years catalog.  I especially love the fact that they come in different widths.  It's a surprise that I picked out the pink/purple set first, isn't it? :)

I hope you like my project for this weeks challenge. We would love for you to head on over to the Sunday Stamps! challenge blog and play along with us! This weeks entries must be submitted by Friday, June 30, 2017. Can't wait to see what you create!  Thanks for stopping by today.

Happy Father's Day to all the dad's out there!

Impressions a Bloom for Sunday Stamps!

Happy Sunday!  Right now I am knee deep in making decorations for my daughter's upcoming baby shower next weekend and the theme is Winnie the Pooh! lol :)  I am going to be a grandma for the first time and all I can say is that I am really is exciting! I forced myself to clear off my stamping table (well actually just push stuff away) and created a floral card for this weeks new challenge at Sunday Stamps!  The Impressions  a Bloom Bundle is one of my newest favorite sets and I really have not had time to create with all of the very many different ways you can with this set.  Here's my 2nd go. Soft pastel colors? Count me in!  And these petals exemplify the softness you can achieve with the Impressions a Bloom .  For these flowers, I stamped 2 in Peach Pie ink followed by Timid Tiger ink. The 3rd flower was stamped using Fresh Freesia ink. I first stamped off onto scratch paper and then used full strength for the detailed/outline stamp. Next, I d...

Perfectly Pears for Sunday Stamps!

It's Sunday and today starts another new challenge at Sunday Stamps! Yahoo!  I love card challenges because it makes you think outside the box and at the same time gives you something to create with whether it be a color challenge or a sketch challenge.   For this weeks creation, I focused on the new Online Exclusive Bundle called Perfectly Pears .  This bundle is part of a suite and the products in the suite are gorgeous.  For this particular creation, I focused on the adorable set of pears and a few of the coordinating dies. I stamped the outline set of pears image using Pecan Pie ink and then stamped the solid part of the pear image using Darling Duckling ink which also had some Timid Tiger ink sponged onto it as well. I then took my Darling Duckling and my Timid Tiger Stampin' Blends and outlined some of the edges of the pears to add more depth to each Pear. Next, I colored the leaves and stem using Old Olive, Mossy Meadow and Pecan Pie Stampin' Blends...
