Happy Together for Sunday Stamps!

Happy Easter! I hope you are feeling blessed and grateful today. This week we have a fun challenge with a rainbow of colors for you to play along with at Sunday Stamps!  Here's challenge no. 123:

Isn't this challenge picture cute?  I don't have any unicorn stamps, so I decided to focus on the rainbow itself.  Here's what I came up with using the Pedal Pusher SAB stamp set:

Do you recognize the DSP behind the bicycle?  It's really a trick question because I created it using a baby wipe and ink refills.  Nothing complicated here. I just dabbed a few drops of ink onto a one of my stamp cases (ha- I know right?) and then grabbed some ink with a baby wipe, and literally wiped it across the DSP.  This is the Irresistibly Yours DSP from last years Sale-a-bration. There is something very similar to this awesome paper in the  2015-2016 annual catalog. It is called Color Me Irresistible (138439) and can be found on page 142.  Click HERE and HERE to see 2 aditional projects I made with this irresistible paper from last year.  This is very fun paper, and I thought it would be perfect for this weeks challenge. :)

I colored the bicycle scene using my Aqua painter and ink refills. The white panel was embossed with the Stylish Stripes embossing folder. A piece of Watermelon 1" Dotted Lace trim and sequins finish it off.

Now its time to check out the other design team members creations and then head on over to Sunday Stamps! and join the fun!

Impressions a Bloom for Sunday Stamps!

Happy Sunday!  Right now I am knee deep in making decorations for my daughter's upcoming baby shower next weekend and the theme is Winnie the Pooh! lol :)  I am going to be a grandma for the first time and all I can say is that I am really is exciting! I forced myself to clear off my stamping table (well actually just push stuff away) and created a floral card for this weeks new challenge at Sunday Stamps!  The Impressions  a Bloom Bundle is one of my newest favorite sets and I really have not had time to create with all of the very many different ways you can with this set.  Here's my 2nd go. Soft pastel colors? Count me in!  And these petals exemplify the softness you can achieve with the Impressions a Bloom .  For these flowers, I stamped 2 in Peach Pie ink followed by Timid Tiger ink. The 3rd flower was stamped using Fresh Freesia ink. I first stamped off onto scratch paper and then used full strength for the detailed/outline stamp. Next, I d...

Perfectly Pears for Sunday Stamps!

It's Sunday and today starts another new challenge at Sunday Stamps! Yahoo!  I love card challenges because it makes you think outside the box and at the same time gives you something to create with whether it be a color challenge or a sketch challenge.   For this weeks creation, I focused on the new Online Exclusive Bundle called Perfectly Pears .  This bundle is part of a suite and the products in the suite are gorgeous.  For this particular creation, I focused on the adorable set of pears and a few of the coordinating dies. I stamped the outline set of pears image using Pecan Pie ink and then stamped the solid part of the pear image using Darling Duckling ink which also had some Timid Tiger ink sponged onto it as well. I then took my Darling Duckling and my Timid Tiger Stampin' Blends and outlined some of the edges of the pears to add more depth to each Pear. Next, I colored the leaves and stem using Old Olive, Mossy Meadow and Pecan Pie Stampin' Blends...
