SSC#109: Garden in Bloom

Hello, and Happy Sunday! This week at Sunday Stamps! we have a color challenge for you to play along with.  Here's the sketch:

And here's what I made using the following Stampin' UP! colors: Crushed Curry, Island Indigo, Pumpkin Pie and So Saffron.

I used the awesome stamp set called Garden in Bloom. You can find it on page 119 of the annual catalog.  I also used the Brick Wall 6 x6 embossing folder.  Such a fun folder! For this card I gently inked up one side of the folder with Crushed Curry ink and ran it thru my Big Shot. I then sponged a little bit on the edges of the "bricks" themselves.  A tone on tone effect looks perfect together.

How about that cute bee?  Love it!  I also used another stamp set. Do you know what it is and where it is?  It's kind of a  trick question.  I used the Watercolor Wash background stamp set.  It works very well with the Garden In Bloom set because they both have the watercolor look. :)  I stamped it using So Saffron ink. It gives the main white panel a very soft, subtle look. Love it!

Here's the supplies I used:

I hope you have enjoyed my card for this weeks challenge, and I hope you will hop on over to the Sunday Stamps! challenge blog and join us! We look forward to seeing what you create for this weeks challenge!  Till then, happy stamping!
