Another Season of Elegance Christmas card

Happy Sunday, crafty friends. Today I have another Season of Elegance Christmas card to share with you.  This is yet another simple card to create that still packs a punch. I let the pine trees do all the talking by clustering 4 different types:  1) the largest tree image stamped in Old Olive ink onto Old Olive cardstock and then die cut out; 2) a large die cut tree using Gold Foil Sheets ; 3) another large tree die cut out of Old Olive cardstock that has random sponging of Old Olive on it to give added contrast; and 4) the small tree die cut with the Seasons of Elegance 12" x 12" Specialty DSP. I used the dotted image in the Peaceful Season Bundle as snow and embossed it with gold embossing powder along the bottom of my 4" x 5 1/4" Basic White cardstock layer. And isn't the sentiment so pretty?  I just love how elegant it looks!  The Season of Elegance Suite is a Last Chance item. If you like woodsy trees - then don't miss out. Place an order of  $50 ...

Season of Elegance

Have you finished your Christmas cards?  I have (finally) and will be sharing what I have created over the next couple of weeks.  Today, I am sharing one made with the Season of Elegance Suite.   This card is so easy and fun to make! The pine trees in the Peaceful Evergreens Bundle are perfect for stamping directly onto cardstock as they look so realistic. For this card, I stamped the two smaller of the three pine trees using Mossy Meadow and Lost Lagoon inks directly onto a 3 3/4" x 5" piece of Basic White cardstock.   I then stamped the 2nd largest tree in Lost Lagoon and die cut it out.  I then hand cut a snow line on a piece of Basic White.  For fun, I added some Matte Finish Embossing Paste to my hand cut piece to create a blanket of snow.  To be honest, I made several versions of this card and tried a bunch of different mediums on my snow line: chunky glitter, Dazzling Diamonds glitter and white embossing powder -to name just a few....

Golden Yuletide Village

Happy Sunday! Today starts another new challenge at Sunday Stamps! and this week we are working with a color challenge perfect for your Holiday crafting!  Today's creation uses the popular Yuletide Village stamp set with the Falling Snow stamp set which are highlighted in gold. I started by embossing the Falling Snowflakes stamp set with gold embossing powder onto a piece of Smoky Slate cardstock.  Next, I embossed the house in gold onto Basic White cardstock and the 2 trees in gold using Mossy Meadow cardstock. I next colored the house using Smoky Slate, Basic Black and Wild Wheat Stampin' Blends and then hand cut all images out by hand.  I then added my sentiment from the Peaceful Season by embossing "merry" in gold and the die cut piece in Mossy Meadow cardstock.  I then created  a snow landscape piece and adhered all the pieces to create my festive scene. My completed layer was then added to a Gold Foil Sheets  layer and finally onto a Basic Bla...
