Happy Easter Wishes

Hello to  my crafty friends, and Happy Easter! Praise God, who sacrificed his life for our salvation. May you know our creator and savior and give praise for all he has done for us.    My Easter card uses the retiring Daffodil Daydream stamp set and coordinating Daffodil Dies. I first die cut three Daffodil flowers pieces using Very Vanilla and Granny Apple Green cardstock followed by adding tops using Very Vanilla and Gold Foil Paper.  The completed flowers were added to a piece of retiring Hues of Happiness 12" x 12" DSP and finally onto a piece of Fresh Freesia cardstock that was embossed with the Basic Essentials 3D Embossing Folder before adding to my Very  Vanilla card base.  A simple creation that I made to display in my home. :) Don't miss out my latest card class surrounding the  PETAL PARK BUNDLE  and the coordinating  REGENCY PARK DSP!    There are 12 projects in this class (and beautiful if I do say so myself)...

Hello, crafty friends! Today, I am sharing one of the very first bundles on my wish list from the January - April 2023 Mini Catalog that is now retiring (insert sad face). You can now save 60% off the original price of the Ginkgo Branch stamp set and the coordinating Gingko Branch Dies when they are purchased separately! Wow!! Ginkgo Branch stamp set $ 23.00   now $9.20 Ginkgo Branch Dies $ 36.00   now $14.40  For this creation, I stamped one set of leaves and two smaller leaves using Granny Apple Green and Evening Evergreen inks, and another set using Granite Gray ink.  I then layered them onto a Basic White layer embossed with the one of the Basics 3D Embossing Folders (Online Exclusive Product) and then onto a Granite Gray piece of cardstock die cut with the Scallop...

Saying good-bye to Rich Razzleberry

Hello, crafty friends! Today's creation was made is in honor of a long time friend who will be retiring at the end of this month: Rich Razzleberry. There are other products that I used for this card that are retiring too: Pretty Prints 12" x 12" DSP, the Stitched Rectangle Dies, the Full Basket Dies, and the Inspired Thoughts stamp set. To create this card, I first stamped 3 flowers from the Color and Contour Bundle using Memento Back ink onto Basic White cardstock and colored them with Rich Razzleberry and Daffodil Delight Stampin' Blends before die cutting them out. My flowers were added to a Rich Razzleberry piece of Fresh Prints DSP that was  die cut with the Stitched Rectangle Dies and then then layered onto a piece of Blackberry Bliss cardstock that was die cut with the Scallop Contour Dies. Next, I added leaves and sprigs using the Full Basket and Artistic Dies.  My card design follows this weeks new sketch challenge by Deb. To play along with this weeks chall...

Naturally Gilded Specialty DSP

Hello, crafty friends. Today, I have a creation to share with you using the Naturally Gilded 12" x 12" Specialty DSP. This paper contains gold, silver and copper embossed floral designs on Basic White or Very Vanilla as the background. This specialty paper is perfect for adding color of your choice with different medias such as Blending Brushes, Sponge Daubers, Stampin' Blends or Stampin' Spritzers. For this creation, I started out with a Blending Brush and added Pumpkin Pie ink to the bottom of a white and copper embossed piece followed by Pale Papaya ink in the middle and leaving the top untouched. I then cut it down and matted it onto a piece of Basic White cardstock die cut with the Scallop Contour Dies . Next, I added some Pale Papaya cardstock die cut flowers from the Meadow Dies . These dies match the DSP perfectly. :) Lastly, I added a copper embossed sentiment from the Irresistible Blooms stamp set.  The font in this set is so beautiful!  Although the bundl...
