Petunia Pop Gallery Blooms

Hello to my crafty friends! It's been quite here on my blog but I have lots of good reasons for that!  Our youngest graduated from the University of Minnesota with a degree in Aerospace Engineering on May 15, 2025 and I have been nonstop enjoying time with all 3 of our children (plus new son-in-law)  and also vacationing at our cabin in Canada.

My family!  Thank you to our new son-in-law for taking the photo!  And notice that my daughter is pregnant!  We are so excited!

And yes that's me with our new engineer in the family.  And yes, I caught that! lol

We had the best weather: no bugs (yah!), calm winds and beautiful sunsets.

I even had "me time" while the boys fished non-stop!  lol

But I know your not here to see all my personal activities so now lets talk about stamping!!  Oh, how I love the Gallery Bloom Bundle!
You know how much I love to color with Stampin' Blends and the color purple, SO I couldn't resist making a card for a dear friend and customer with this criteria in mind. :)

The images in the Gallery of Blooms Bundle stamp so nicely! The design is nice and bold which makes this set perfect for stamping (and not coloring it at all), but also perfect for embossing and of course excellent for coloring!
I stamped this beautiful floral image using the new Secret Sea In Color ink and colored it with Petunia Pop, Fresh Freesia, Pecan Pie, Old Olive and Mossy Meadow Stampin' Blends.

I then added some Mossy Meadow die cut leaves and Fresh Freesia die cut flowers to surround my flowers along with a Basic White layer behind them using the Damask Designs Embossing Folder.
Next, I added a Petunia Pop die cut frame and finished it off with a sentiment from the Beautiful Motifs Bundle stamped with Secret Sea ink.  Lastly, I added a few Starburst Sequins as my embellishment.

If you don't have this bundle yet, you are in luck because starting June 3rd  thru June 30th, you can purchase a suite or products in a suite and get a second suite or suite product at 50% off!

Impressions a Bloom for Sunday Stamps!

Happy Sunday!  Right now I am knee deep in making decorations for my daughter's upcoming baby shower next weekend and the theme is Winnie the Pooh! lol :)  I am going to be a grandma for the first time and all I can say is that I am really is exciting! I forced myself to clear off my stamping table (well actually just push stuff away) and created a floral card for this weeks new challenge at Sunday Stamps!  The Impressions  a Bloom Bundle is one of my newest favorite sets and I really have not had time to create with all of the very many different ways you can with this set.  Here's my 2nd go. Soft pastel colors? Count me in!  And these petals exemplify the softness you can achieve with the Impressions a Bloom .  For these flowers, I stamped 2 in Peach Pie ink followed by Timid Tiger ink. The 3rd flower was stamped using Fresh Freesia ink. I first stamped off onto scratch paper and then used full strength for the detailed/outline stamp. Next, I d...

Perfectly Pears for Sunday Stamps!

It's Sunday and today starts another new challenge at Sunday Stamps! Yahoo!  I love card challenges because it makes you think outside the box and at the same time gives you something to create with whether it be a color challenge or a sketch challenge.   For this weeks creation, I focused on the new Online Exclusive Bundle called Perfectly Pears .  This bundle is part of a suite and the products in the suite are gorgeous.  For this particular creation, I focused on the adorable set of pears and a few of the coordinating dies. I stamped the outline set of pears image using Pecan Pie ink and then stamped the solid part of the pear image using Darling Duckling ink which also had some Timid Tiger ink sponged onto it as well. I then took my Darling Duckling and my Timid Tiger Stampin' Blends and outlined some of the edges of the pears to add more depth to each Pear. Next, I colored the leaves and stem using Old Olive, Mossy Meadow and Pecan Pie Stampin' Blends...
