Quick and Easy Birthday Creation

Today's crafty creation features several new products you will find in the upcoming 2024-2025 Annual Catalog.

I started with a precut flower image from the new Fully Flowering Ephemera Pack.  There are 4 new Ephemera Packs in the upcoming Annual Catalog to choose from and to help you create a quick and easy card. Each ephemera pack has a different theme: words, images, flowers and labels. Each ephemera pack contains 8 sheets (2 each of 4 designs).

I choose a Daffodil Delight and Lemon Lolly colored flower that showcases 2 new In Colors: Shy Shamrock and Summer Splash and chose to highlight Shy Shamrock by adding die cut sprigs and a strip of cardstock to the right side of my card front.

Another new item I used to create my quick and easy card is the Eyelet 3D Embossing Folder which is a part of the new Country Woods Suite Collection containing the Country Birdhouse and Country Flowers Bundles (can't wait to create with these bundles! lol).

I paired my precut flower with a sentiment from the retiring Sending Smiles stamp set and Smiles Dies and adding a  few Lemon Lolly Adhesive-Backed Shiny Sequins.

Don't overlook the Ephemera Packs in the new Annual Catalog for quick and easy creations. Some of the images are not colored so that you can color them with your favorite coloring tools.  So fun!

Impressions a Bloom for Sunday Stamps!

Happy Sunday!  Right now I am knee deep in making decorations for my daughter's upcoming baby shower next weekend and the theme is Winnie the Pooh! lol :)  I am going to be a grandma for the first time and all I can say is that I am really is exciting! I forced myself to clear off my stamping table (well actually just push stuff away) and created a floral card for this weeks new challenge at Sunday Stamps!  The Impressions  a Bloom Bundle is one of my newest favorite sets and I really have not had time to create with all of the very many different ways you can with this set.  Here's my 2nd go. Soft pastel colors? Count me in!  And these petals exemplify the softness you can achieve with the Impressions a Bloom .  For these flowers, I stamped 2 in Peach Pie ink followed by Timid Tiger ink. The 3rd flower was stamped using Fresh Freesia ink. I first stamped off onto scratch paper and then used full strength for the detailed/outline stamp. Next, I d...

Perfectly Pears for Sunday Stamps!

It's Sunday and today starts another new challenge at Sunday Stamps! Yahoo!  I love card challenges because it makes you think outside the box and at the same time gives you something to create with whether it be a color challenge or a sketch challenge.   For this weeks creation, I focused on the new Online Exclusive Bundle called Perfectly Pears .  This bundle is part of a suite and the products in the suite are gorgeous.  For this particular creation, I focused on the adorable set of pears and a few of the coordinating dies. I stamped the outline set of pears image using Pecan Pie ink and then stamped the solid part of the pear image using Darling Duckling ink which also had some Timid Tiger ink sponged onto it as well. I then took my Darling Duckling and my Timid Tiger Stampin' Blends and outlined some of the edges of the pears to add more depth to each Pear. Next, I colored the leaves and stem using Old Olive, Mossy Meadow and Pecan Pie Stampin' Blends...
