Sunday Stamps! #327

Happy Sunday! Today, I have a Valentine creation to share with you using the gorgeous Enduring Beauty Bundle (item 162674) for our new challenge at Sunday Stamps!

Oh  my gosh was this ever fun to create!  This bundle comes with a set of masks to place over the beautiful flower and sponge in different colored inks of your choice.  It was so fun and so easy to do!

To get started, I stamped the flower in Memento Black ink onto Basic White cardstock and then placed the larger of the two flower masks over the stamped image and sponged in Petal Pink ink. Next, I removed the mask and added the 2nd flower mask over the top and sponged in Pumpkin Pie ink to create the detailed shading.
I repeated the same process for the leaves using Shaded Spruce ink.  I did not use the 5th mask as it was not needed.  Below is what the bundle and masks look like.

My flowers were then added it to a piece of Most Adored 12" x 12" Specialty DSP which is a FREE Sale-a-bration item that was die cut with the Perennial Postage Dies followed by a Pumpkin Pie cardstock layer and finally a Basic White card base.

I also added some Shaded Spruce and Pumpkin Pie cardstock die cut leaves and flowers from the Enduring Beauty Dies to my flower.

Impressions a Bloom for Sunday Stamps!

Happy Sunday!  Right now I am knee deep in making decorations for my daughter's upcoming baby shower next weekend and the theme is Winnie the Pooh! lol :)  I am going to be a grandma for the first time and all I can say is that I am really is exciting! I forced myself to clear off my stamping table (well actually just push stuff away) and created a floral card for this weeks new challenge at Sunday Stamps!  The Impressions  a Bloom Bundle is one of my newest favorite sets and I really have not had time to create with all of the very many different ways you can with this set.  Here's my 2nd go. Soft pastel colors? Count me in!  And these petals exemplify the softness you can achieve with the Impressions a Bloom .  For these flowers, I stamped 2 in Peach Pie ink followed by Timid Tiger ink. The 3rd flower was stamped using Fresh Freesia ink. I first stamped off onto scratch paper and then used full strength for the detailed/outline stamp. Next, I d...

Perfectly Pears for Sunday Stamps!

It's Sunday and today starts another new challenge at Sunday Stamps! Yahoo!  I love card challenges because it makes you think outside the box and at the same time gives you something to create with whether it be a color challenge or a sketch challenge.   For this weeks creation, I focused on the new Online Exclusive Bundle called Perfectly Pears .  This bundle is part of a suite and the products in the suite are gorgeous.  For this particular creation, I focused on the adorable set of pears and a few of the coordinating dies. I stamped the outline set of pears image using Pecan Pie ink and then stamped the solid part of the pear image using Darling Duckling ink which also had some Timid Tiger ink sponged onto it as well. I then took my Darling Duckling and my Timid Tiger Stampin' Blends and outlined some of the edges of the pears to add more depth to each Pear. Next, I colored the leaves and stem using Old Olive, Mossy Meadow and Pecan Pie Stampin' Blends...
