Night Divine for Sunday Stamps! #324

Happy Sunday or should I say Happy 15 days before Christmas? :0 Are you all ready? I am not. :(  However, in preparation of Christmas and my Christmas cards  I do have a creation to share with you which sums what Christmas is all about for the new challenge at  Sunday Stamps!

I used the Night Divine Bundle from the  September - December 2023 Mini Catalog. This set is now on the Last Chance list.

I embossed the sentiment using Gold and White Embossing powder onto a Night of Navy piece of cardstock.  I then added a Gold Foil frame from the Fabulous Frames Dies which are retired.
This was then adhered to a piece of O Holy Night DSP and then finally onto a Night of Navy card base. In following this weeks sketch challenge, I added a a Basic White and Gold Foil star to my frame from the Stars at Night Bundle which is also on the Last Chance list.

Here's this weeks new challenge at Sunday Stamps! created by Deb.

I haven't mixed embossing powders in awhile and it was fun to try it out again. :)  Another card finished. A few more to go...

Do you mass produce the same card for your Christmas cards?  I do not. The most I will typically make is twenty as that is all I can muster up.  And since I end up having a few new Christmas sets...I usually try to make at least 15 from each bundle before moving on.

Impressions a Bloom for Sunday Stamps!

Happy Sunday!  Right now I am knee deep in making decorations for my daughter's upcoming baby shower next weekend and the theme is Winnie the Pooh! lol :)  I am going to be a grandma for the first time and all I can say is that I am really is exciting! I forced myself to clear off my stamping table (well actually just push stuff away) and created a floral card for this weeks new challenge at Sunday Stamps!  The Impressions  a Bloom Bundle is one of my newest favorite sets and I really have not had time to create with all of the very many different ways you can with this set.  Here's my 2nd go. Soft pastel colors? Count me in!  And these petals exemplify the softness you can achieve with the Impressions a Bloom .  For these flowers, I stamped 2 in Peach Pie ink followed by Timid Tiger ink. The 3rd flower was stamped using Fresh Freesia ink. I first stamped off onto scratch paper and then used full strength for the detailed/outline stamp. Next, I d...

    Perfectly Pears for Sunday Stamps!

It's Sunday and today starts another new challenge at Sunday Stamps! Yahoo!  I love card challenges because it makes you think outside the box and at the same time gives you something to create with whether it be a color challenge or a sketch challenge.   For this weeks creation, I focused on the new Online Exclusive Bundle called Perfectly Pears .  This bundle is part of a suite and the products in the suite are gorgeous.  For this particular creation, I focused on the adorable set of pears and a few of the coordinating dies. I stamped the outline set of pears image using Pecan Pie ink and then stamped the solid part of the pear image using Darling Duckling ink which also had some Timid Tiger ink sponged onto it as well. I then took my Darling Duckling and my Timid Tiger Stampin' Blends and outlined some of the edges of the pears to add more depth to each Pear. Next, I colored the leaves and stem using Old Olive, Mossy Meadow and Pecan Pie Stampin' Blends...
