Hello to my crafty friends! I have been blessed to have just finished a wonderful mother-n-daughter vacation in which we hiked and explored the trails of Mount Rainier, Washington. All I can say is wowza to all the beauty that is out there!! One of the most gorgeous terrains, old growth forests, flowers, trees and of course the mountains I have ever experienced. The state of Washington is beautiful and I feel blessed to have shared it with my daughter. :)
Because I still have the outdoors fresh on my mind, I chose to create a masculine outdoor themed birthday card for this weeks new challenge at Sunday Stamps! using the Grassy Grove stamp set and coordinating Grove Dies.
I chose to create with these colors after finding a tree patterned piece of DSP from the One Horse Open Sleigh 6" x 6" DSP (an online exclusive product) as it reminded me of our last hiking day in which the morning was cool and misting out. Here are a few pictures of our last hike and the mist I am referring to:It was the only day that started out cool and misty. The other days were sunny with blue skies. So thankful for it all.
