Sunday Stamps! #313

Happy Sunday! Today, I am popping in to share another floral creation I made following the new color challenge at Sunday Stamps! using the Paper Florist Dies.

Oh how much fun are these dies?!  If you have the new annual catalog handy, just flip it over to the back cover and you will see how Stampin' UP! created a floral arrangement using many different floral dies and including the Paper Florist Dies.

To create my flowers, I used two different die sets from the Paper Florist Dies to create 3 different flowers using Azure Afternoon cardstock.  Next, I added die cut centers using Basic White and Daffodil Delight cardstock.
What is so nice is that you can make two passes through your die cutting machine and create all these flowers at once.

Sticking with the color challenge, I added some leaves and sprigs to my flowers using Garden Green cardstock using the Petal Park Builder Punch and the the Textured Floral Dies.
My sentiment comes from the Lasting Joy stamp set which has some great sentiments at the perfect size.

Impressions a Bloom for Sunday Stamps!

Happy Sunday!  Right now I am knee deep in making decorations for my daughter's upcoming baby shower next weekend and the theme is Winnie the Pooh! lol :)  I am going to be a grandma for the first time and all I can say is that I am really is exciting! I forced myself to clear off my stamping table (well actually just push stuff away) and created a floral card for this weeks new challenge at Sunday Stamps!  The Impressions  a Bloom Bundle is one of my newest favorite sets and I really have not had time to create with all of the very many different ways you can with this set.  Here's my 2nd go. Soft pastel colors? Count me in!  And these petals exemplify the softness you can achieve with the Impressions a Bloom .  For these flowers, I stamped 2 in Peach Pie ink followed by Timid Tiger ink. The 3rd flower was stamped using Fresh Freesia ink. I first stamped off onto scratch paper and then used full strength for the detailed/outline stamp. Next, I d...

Perfectly Pears for Sunday Stamps!

It's Sunday and today starts another new challenge at Sunday Stamps! Yahoo!  I love card challenges because it makes you think outside the box and at the same time gives you something to create with whether it be a color challenge or a sketch challenge.   For this weeks creation, I focused on the new Online Exclusive Bundle called Perfectly Pears .  This bundle is part of a suite and the products in the suite are gorgeous.  For this particular creation, I focused on the adorable set of pears and a few of the coordinating dies. I stamped the outline set of pears image using Pecan Pie ink and then stamped the solid part of the pear image using Darling Duckling ink which also had some Timid Tiger ink sponged onto it as well. I then took my Darling Duckling and my Timid Tiger Stampin' Blends and outlined some of the edges of the pears to add more depth to each Pear. Next, I colored the leaves and stem using Old Olive, Mossy Meadow and Pecan Pie Stampin' Blends...
