Petal Park Flowers

Hello, crafty friends. I am back from our vacation. Thank you to those of you who placed an order during my Vacation Special! I appreciate your business with me. :)  Today, I have a Petal Park Bundle creation to share with you.

This card may look like a lot of work but it was super easy to make because this bundle contains a punch with three different sized flowers.

To create my floral arrangement, I first stamped the large leaf image and a few single leaf images onto a 2 3/4" x 3 7/8" piece of Basic White cardstock.  Next, I stamped 4 sets of flowers using the outline image and Night of Navy ink onto a strip of Basic White cardstock.  Next, I went back and filled in the outline stamped flowers using the solid flower image with Balmy Blue ink.  Because this is a photopolymer stamp set, it is very easy to see for perfect placement.  I then colored the centers of the flowers using a Daffodil Delight Stampin' Blend before punching them out.
My color choices were easy as I used the coordinating Regency Park 6" x 6" DSP and Night of Navy Bordered Ribbon from the Regency Park Suite products.

Impressions a Bloom for Sunday Stamps!

Happy Sunday!  Right now I am knee deep in making decorations for my daughter's upcoming baby shower next weekend and the theme is Winnie the Pooh! lol :)  I am going to be a grandma for the first time and all I can say is that I am really is exciting! I forced myself to clear off my stamping table (well actually just push stuff away) and created a floral card for this weeks new challenge at Sunday Stamps!  The Impressions  a Bloom Bundle is one of my newest favorite sets and I really have not had time to create with all of the very many different ways you can with this set.  Here's my 2nd go. Soft pastel colors? Count me in!  And these petals exemplify the softness you can achieve with the Impressions a Bloom .  For these flowers, I stamped 2 in Peach Pie ink followed by Timid Tiger ink. The 3rd flower was stamped using Fresh Freesia ink. I first stamped off onto scratch paper and then used full strength for the detailed/outline stamp. Next, I d...

Perfectly Pears for Sunday Stamps!

It's Sunday and today starts another new challenge at Sunday Stamps! Yahoo!  I love card challenges because it makes you think outside the box and at the same time gives you something to create with whether it be a color challenge or a sketch challenge.   For this weeks creation, I focused on the new Online Exclusive Bundle called Perfectly Pears .  This bundle is part of a suite and the products in the suite are gorgeous.  For this particular creation, I focused on the adorable set of pears and a few of the coordinating dies. I stamped the outline set of pears image using Pecan Pie ink and then stamped the solid part of the pear image using Darling Duckling ink which also had some Timid Tiger ink sponged onto it as well. I then took my Darling Duckling and my Timid Tiger Stampin' Blends and outlined some of the edges of the pears to add more depth to each Pear. Next, I colored the leaves and stem using Old Olive, Mossy Meadow and Pecan Pie Stampin' Blends...
