Hand-Penned Petals for Sunday Stamps!

Hello, and happy Sunday crafty friends. Today, I have floral creation to share with you using an "oldy but goody" stamp set.  The Hand-Penned Petals (item 155070) is a top personal favorite of mine that first made its appearance in 2021.

I love the whimsical feel of the images and the fact that you can color the flowers or stamp color into it.  For this card, I did a little of both. I colored the large flowers with a Pale Papaya Stampin' Blend and then added Calypso Coral ink over the top with the stamp set flower images.

I stamped 2 sets of flowers and then cut some to separate them to create a circular frame around my die cut sentiment.

My card design follows the new challenge at  Sunday Stamps! Challenge #302 below:

For fun I added some Granny Apple Green die cut leaves from the Dainty Delight Bundle (item160675)  to accent my flowers. I love that I can cut the larger die cut leaf into smaller groupings to use as an accent. They are the perfect size for many sets I have.

Of course I had to use other new products for my creation. The sentiment is from the Something Fancy Bundle (item 160425), and the DSP is a FREE Sale-a-bration item called Dandy Designs (item 160836).

A few white Enamel Dot Essentials (item 160751) finish off my card.

Impressions a Bloom for Sunday Stamps!

Happy Sunday!  Right now I am knee deep in making decorations for my daughter's upcoming baby shower next weekend and the theme is Winnie the Pooh! lol :)  I am going to be a grandma for the first time and all I can say is that I am really is exciting! I forced myself to clear off my stamping table (well actually just push stuff away) and created a floral card for this weeks new challenge at Sunday Stamps!  The Impressions  a Bloom Bundle is one of my newest favorite sets and I really have not had time to create with all of the very many different ways you can with this set.  Here's my 2nd go. Soft pastel colors? Count me in!  And these petals exemplify the softness you can achieve with the Impressions a Bloom .  For these flowers, I stamped 2 in Peach Pie ink followed by Timid Tiger ink. The 3rd flower was stamped using Fresh Freesia ink. I first stamped off onto scratch paper and then used full strength for the detailed/outline stamp. Next, I d...

Perfectly Pears for Sunday Stamps!

It's Sunday and today starts another new challenge at Sunday Stamps! Yahoo!  I love card challenges because it makes you think outside the box and at the same time gives you something to create with whether it be a color challenge or a sketch challenge.   For this weeks creation, I focused on the new Online Exclusive Bundle called Perfectly Pears .  This bundle is part of a suite and the products in the suite are gorgeous.  For this particular creation, I focused on the adorable set of pears and a few of the coordinating dies. I stamped the outline set of pears image using Pecan Pie ink and then stamped the solid part of the pear image using Darling Duckling ink which also had some Timid Tiger ink sponged onto it as well. I then took my Darling Duckling and my Timid Tiger Stampin' Blends and outlined some of the edges of the pears to add more depth to each Pear. Next, I colored the leaves and stem using Old Olive, Mossy Meadow and Pecan Pie Stampin' Blends...
