Perched in a Tree Sympathy Card

Hello, to my crafty friends. Today, I am sharing a sympathy card I made using the Perched in a Tree Bundle.  What a versatile bundle this is!  I have been having a lot of fun using the Aspen Tree background die and pairing it with different themed designer papers.  For this creation, I paired it with the 2022 July - August SAB: Rings of Love 12" x 12" DSP. 

I pulled out the DSP colors of: Poppy Parade, Crushed Curry, Soft Succulent, and Evening Evergreen die cut leaves to accent my die cut aspen trees layer.  I love the detail in these leaves! 

I colored this adorable bird using Crumb Cake, Soft Suede, So Saffron and Pale Papaya Stampin' Blends.

My finished tree/branch layer was adhered to a Soft Suede cardstock layer followed by a Soft Succulent card base.

Notice how well the Evening Evergreen leaves from the Ringed with Nature Bundle work to accent  my birch tree branch and leaves?!

The sentiment I chose for this card is from the Inspired Thoughts stamp set and is a set I often reach for.
