Sunday Stamps! #281

Hello, crafty friends and happy Easter Sunday! I hope you are enjoying a wonderful weekend with your family and are as grateful as I am for the many blessings we have been given by our creator. May you find peace and joy in knowing that our Savior is Risen! Happy Easter!

Today's Easter creation uses the Daffodil and Tulip Dies to create my flowers and was paired with the new and upcoming Blossoming Happiness Dies which is part of the Happiness Abounds Bundle.

To create my Basic White layer, I first stamped the "water mark" image from the Ocean Front stamp set using Pear Pizzazz ink. Next, I die cut it with the "note book" border edge and the partial floral die cut from the Blossoming Happiness Dies.  So fun!

I adhered this panel to a So Saffron card base and then destressed a few areas along the edge of the Basic White panel.

For the flowers, I die cut 2 tulips using Blushing Bride and Pear Pizzazz cardstock and lightly sponged the flowers edges with Blushing Bride ink.  I die cut a Basic White Daffodil flower base and a So Saffron and Daffodil Delight flower top. I again sponged in So Saffron ink lightly along the flowers edges.
The flowers were added to my Basic White panel using Dimensionals.  The sentiment is one of my top favorite stamp sets that I have been gravitating to quit a bit: the Celebrating You stamp set.  It has just about every occasion you need for your stamping arsenal. :)

My card follows the new color challenge at Sunday Stamps!

Impressions a Bloom for Sunday Stamps!

Happy Sunday!  Right now I am knee deep in making decorations for my daughter's upcoming baby shower next weekend and the theme is Winnie the Pooh! lol :)  I am going to be a grandma for the first time and all I can say is that I am really is exciting! I forced myself to clear off my stamping table (well actually just push stuff away) and created a floral card for this weeks new challenge at Sunday Stamps!  The Impressions  a Bloom Bundle is one of my newest favorite sets and I really have not had time to create with all of the very many different ways you can with this set.  Here's my 2nd go. Soft pastel colors? Count me in!  And these petals exemplify the softness you can achieve with the Impressions a Bloom .  For these flowers, I stamped 2 in Peach Pie ink followed by Timid Tiger ink. The 3rd flower was stamped using Fresh Freesia ink. I first stamped off onto scratch paper and then used full strength for the detailed/outline stamp. Next, I d...

Perfectly Pears for Sunday Stamps!

It's Sunday and today starts another new challenge at Sunday Stamps! Yahoo!  I love card challenges because it makes you think outside the box and at the same time gives you something to create with whether it be a color challenge or a sketch challenge.   For this weeks creation, I focused on the new Online Exclusive Bundle called Perfectly Pears .  This bundle is part of a suite and the products in the suite are gorgeous.  For this particular creation, I focused on the adorable set of pears and a few of the coordinating dies. I stamped the outline set of pears image using Pecan Pie ink and then stamped the solid part of the pear image using Darling Duckling ink which also had some Timid Tiger ink sponged onto it as well. I then took my Darling Duckling and my Timid Tiger Stampin' Blends and outlined some of the edges of the pears to add more depth to each Pear. Next, I colored the leaves and stem using Old Olive, Mossy Meadow and Pecan Pie Stampin' Blends...
