Sunday Stamps! #277

Hello, and happy wintry Sunday!  I have to say that I think we have all had enough of the cold, snow and wind here in Minnesota!  How's the winter been where you live? I am thinking we could all use a little warmth and perhaps a blossoming fields of flowers inspiration, right?!

I had so much fun creating this card using the Tulip Fields Bundle. It was super easy to create the fun windmill and now I have an interactive card as the blades actually move on my card! lol

I used Bermuda Bay and Balmy Blue inks to create a field of flowers before placing my Soft Suede and Early Espresso windmill over top using Dimensionals.
I stamped some Balmy Blue inked clouds in the sky and then went back over my sky and added a light Balmy Blue ink using a Blending Brush.

My completed panel was added to a Bermuda Bay and Balmy Blue cardstock layer followed by a Basic White card base.
I then added a row of Bermuda Bay and Basic White flowers in front of my windmill with Dimensionals using the coordinating Flowering Tulips Bundle.

Finally, I added my sentiment from the Calming Camilla Hostess stamp set and Blue sequins from the Artistry Blooms Sequins.
My card follows this weeks new color challenge at Sunday Stamps! below.

Impressions a Bloom for Sunday Stamps!

Happy Sunday!  Right now I am knee deep in making decorations for my daughter's upcoming baby shower next weekend and the theme is Winnie the Pooh! lol :)  I am going to be a grandma for the first time and all I can say is that I am really is exciting! I forced myself to clear off my stamping table (well actually just push stuff away) and created a floral card for this weeks new challenge at Sunday Stamps!  The Impressions  a Bloom Bundle is one of my newest favorite sets and I really have not had time to create with all of the very many different ways you can with this set.  Here's my 2nd go. Soft pastel colors? Count me in!  And these petals exemplify the softness you can achieve with the Impressions a Bloom .  For these flowers, I stamped 2 in Peach Pie ink followed by Timid Tiger ink. The 3rd flower was stamped using Fresh Freesia ink. I first stamped off onto scratch paper and then used full strength for the detailed/outline stamp. Next, I d...

Perfectly Pears for Sunday Stamps!

It's Sunday and today starts another new challenge at Sunday Stamps! Yahoo!  I love card challenges because it makes you think outside the box and at the same time gives you something to create with whether it be a color challenge or a sketch challenge.   For this weeks creation, I focused on the new Online Exclusive Bundle called Perfectly Pears .  This bundle is part of a suite and the products in the suite are gorgeous.  For this particular creation, I focused on the adorable set of pears and a few of the coordinating dies. I stamped the outline set of pears image using Pecan Pie ink and then stamped the solid part of the pear image using Darling Duckling ink which also had some Timid Tiger ink sponged onto it as well. I then took my Darling Duckling and my Timid Tiger Stampin' Blends and outlined some of the edges of the pears to add more depth to each Pear. Next, I colored the leaves and stem using Old Olive, Mossy Meadow and Pecan Pie Stampin' Blends...
