Pretty Perennials

Hello, crafty friends, and happy Friday! What a busy week at has been. I just can't believe we are already at the end of February AND the end of Sale-a-bration!  Only 2 more days to get FREE product!!!

If you love flowers, you are going to love the Pretty Perennials Bundle!  Hint: You may see a card class from me using this bundle in the near future.

For this creation, I kept it pretty simple and paired it with two Sale-a-bration products: Flower & Field 12" x 12" DSP and the Approaching Perfection stamp set.  These are both great FREE products to add to your stamping arsenal.
I stamped the large flower using Blackberry Bliss ink and the smaller flowers using Night of Navy ink. I added Crushed Curry die cut centers to each flower to make the flowers pop and to pair with my polka dot pattern from the Flower & Field DSP.  I love the watercolor look of these flowers, don't you?

There are 23 dies in this bundle with several duplicates dies so that you can make several stamped and die cut images at once.  I have been using my Stamparatus to help me create perfectly stamped and die cut images. Plus, it saves lots of time! I love my Stamparatus!!

I forced myself to clear off my stamping table (well actually just push stuff away) and created a floral card for this weeks new challenge at Sunday Stamps!  The Impressions  a Bloom Bundle is one of my newest favorite sets and I really have not had time to create with all of the very many different ways you can with this set.  Here's my 2nd go. Soft pastel colors? Count me in!  And these petals exemplify the softness you can achieve with the Impressions a Bloom .  For these flowers, I stamped 2 in Peach Pie ink followed by Timid Tiger ink. The 3rd flower was stamped using Fresh Freesia ink. I first stamped off onto scratch paper and then used full strength for the detailed/outline stamp. Next, I d...

Perfectly Pears for Sunday Stamps!

It's Sunday and today starts another new challenge at Sunday Stamps! Yahoo!  I love card challenges because it makes you think outside the box and at the same time gives you something to create with whether it be a color challenge or a sketch challenge.   For this weeks creation, I focused on the new Online Exclusive Bundle called Perfectly Pears .  This bundle is part of a suite and the products in the suite are gorgeous.  For this particular creation, I focused on the adorable set of pears and a few of the coordinating dies. I stamped the outline set of pears image using Pecan Pie ink and then stamped the solid part of the pear image using Darling Duckling ink which also had some Timid Tiger ink sponged onto it as well. I then took my Darling Duckling and my Timid Tiger Stampin' Blends and outlined some of the edges of the pears to add more depth to each Pear. Next, I colored the leaves and stem using Old Olive, Mossy Meadow and Pecan Pie Stampin' Blends...
