Hey, Chick for Sunday Stamps!

Hello, crafty friends.  It's Sunday and that means that its time for a new challenge at Sunday Stamps! and here's what I made using the 2017 Sale-a-bration Hey, Chick stamp set with the new matching Chick Dies.

Is this not so fun?  Oh my, I just am having too much fun with these Chick stamp sets. And we all need a little more laughter in our lives right now, don't we.

I am on a blending kick right now, so of course I had to create a fun background for my adorable chick card using the Blending Brushes.
I didn't want to over power it, so I added Daffodil Delight and Pumpkin Pie inks randomly in the middle of a piece of Basic White cardstock making sure to leave a lot of white for my chick to really do all the talkin.

I love the Chick Dies! Such fun images to add to make a fun scene.  I am not sure which die cut image is my favorite! There are so many fun dies in this set.
Chick Dies

The stamped confetti image is from the Hey Birthday Chick stamp set and the red bow is also from the Birthday Chick Dies.  These bundles work fantastical together.

Impressions a Bloom for Sunday Stamps!

Happy Sunday!  Right now I am knee deep in making decorations for my daughter's upcoming baby shower next weekend and the theme is Winnie the Pooh! lol :)  I am going to be a grandma for the first time and all I can say is that I am really is exciting! I forced myself to clear off my stamping table (well actually just push stuff away) and created a floral card for this weeks new challenge at Sunday Stamps!  The Impressions  a Bloom Bundle is one of my newest favorite sets and I really have not had time to create with all of the very many different ways you can with this set.  Here's my 2nd go. Soft pastel colors? Count me in!  And these petals exemplify the softness you can achieve with the Impressions a Bloom .  For these flowers, I stamped 2 in Peach Pie ink followed by Timid Tiger ink. The 3rd flower was stamped using Fresh Freesia ink. I first stamped off onto scratch paper and then used full strength for the detailed/outline stamp. Next, I d...

Perfectly Pears for Sunday Stamps!

It's Sunday and today starts another new challenge at Sunday Stamps! Yahoo!  I love card challenges because it makes you think outside the box and at the same time gives you something to create with whether it be a color challenge or a sketch challenge.   For this weeks creation, I focused on the new Online Exclusive Bundle called Perfectly Pears .  This bundle is part of a suite and the products in the suite are gorgeous.  For this particular creation, I focused on the adorable set of pears and a few of the coordinating dies. I stamped the outline set of pears image using Pecan Pie ink and then stamped the solid part of the pear image using Darling Duckling ink which also had some Timid Tiger ink sponged onto it as well. I then took my Darling Duckling and my Timid Tiger Stampin' Blends and outlined some of the edges of the pears to add more depth to each Pear. Next, I colored the leaves and stem using Old Olive, Mossy Meadow and Pecan Pie Stampin' Blends...
