Celebrate the Season!

Are you ready to celebrate the season?  Today, I have a very simple and easy to create Christmas card to share with you using the beautiful tree from the Winter Woods Stamp set for this weeks new challenge at Sunday Stamps.

I am at that point where I need to crank a few more out, and I decided to go thru all my DSP and create some CASE cards.  I love this tree from the Winter Woods stamp set! It's so pretty, timeless and perfect for this weeks new challenge at Sunday Stamps! created by Melissa.

Here's this weeks new challenge at Sunday Stamps!

This weeks challenge will end on Friday, December 25th, at 6:00 pm EST.  I can't wait to see what you create!

The tree was stamped using Pretty Peacock ink and die cut out using the matching In the Woods Dies.  Next, I added Shimmery Crystal Effects onto the branches and while it was still wet, poured on some Dazzling Diamonds glitter onto it before heat setting it with my Heat Tool.

I paired my sparkly festive tree with the Plaid Tidings 6" x 6" DSP and layered it onto my favorite all time die in the annual catalog called Ornate Layers.

I may have used the Ornate and Curvy Dies on most all of my Christmas cards this year.  Love them both so much!

Impressions a Bloom for Sunday Stamps!

Happy Sunday!  Right now I am knee deep in making decorations for my daughter's upcoming baby shower next weekend and the theme is Winnie the Pooh! lol :)  I am going to be a grandma for the first time and all I can say is that I am really is exciting! I forced myself to clear off my stamping table (well actually just push stuff away) and created a floral card for this weeks new challenge at Sunday Stamps!  The Impressions  a Bloom Bundle is one of my newest favorite sets and I really have not had time to create with all of the very many different ways you can with this set.  Here's my 2nd go. Soft pastel colors? Count me in!  And these petals exemplify the softness you can achieve with the Impressions a Bloom .  For these flowers, I stamped 2 in Peach Pie ink followed by Timid Tiger ink. The 3rd flower was stamped using Fresh Freesia ink. I first stamped off onto scratch paper and then used full strength for the detailed/outline stamp. Next, I d...

Perfectly Pears for Sunday Stamps!

It's Sunday and today starts another new challenge at Sunday Stamps! Yahoo!  I love card challenges because it makes you think outside the box and at the same time gives you something to create with whether it be a color challenge or a sketch challenge.   For this weeks creation, I focused on the new Online Exclusive Bundle called Perfectly Pears .  This bundle is part of a suite and the products in the suite are gorgeous.  For this particular creation, I focused on the adorable set of pears and a few of the coordinating dies. I stamped the outline set of pears image using Pecan Pie ink and then stamped the solid part of the pear image using Darling Duckling ink which also had some Timid Tiger ink sponged onto it as well. I then took my Darling Duckling and my Timid Tiger Stampin' Blends and outlined some of the edges of the pears to add more depth to each Pear. Next, I colored the leaves and stem using Old Olive, Mossy Meadow and Pecan Pie Stampin' Blends...
