Sunday Stamps! #245

Hello and happy Sunday, crafty friends!  I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving celebration.  I was fortunate to have all three of my children at home and I am truly grateful for that. Hopefully, you were able to be with your loved ones too.

Today, I have a fun gingerbread house card to share with you using the stamp set from the Jolly Gingerbread  November 2020 Paper Pumpkin.

Since I just received my Paper Pumpkin kit, I wanted to try it out and decided it would be perfect for this weeks new color challenge at Sunday Stamps!

I can't believe we are heading into December (yikes!) and since some (or maybe many?) of us are still working on finishing up our Christmas cards, I think this weeks festive color challenge is the perfect opportunity for you to play along with us!

To play, simply follow the challenge guidelines below:
  • Fee free to use any brand products you have;
  • Please link up your new project created for this challenge (no backlinks);
  • Feel free to combine our challenge with up to four other challenges;
  • We reserve the right to delete any links that do not adhere to the challenge rules;
  • Please provide a link to the Sunday Stamps! website and/or the challenge picture in your post; and most of all-
  • Have fun creating with us!
This weeks challenge will end on Friday, December 11th, at 6:00 pm EST.  I can't wait to see what you create!

To create my card, I stamped the gingerbread house image in Versamark ink and embossed it with White Embossing Powder onto Cherry Cobbler, Early Espresso and Blackberry Bliss cardstock before hand cutting them out. Next, I stamped and embossed snowflakes from the Snowman Season stamp set randomly onto my Crumb Cake cardstock layer.

Lastly, I added two snowdrifts and Shaded Spruce die cut pine trees from the In the Pines Bundle (my favorite 2020 Holiday Catalog stamp set).  All were then adhered to my Early Espresso card base using Dimensionals.

Impressions a Bloom for Sunday Stamps!

 Happy Sunday!  Right now I am knee deep in making decorations for my daughter's upcoming baby shower next weekend and the theme is Winnie the Pooh! lol :)  I am going to be a grandma for the first time and all I can say is that I am really is exciting! I forced myself to clear off my stamping table (well actually just push stuff away) and created a floral card for this weeks new challenge at Sunday Stamps!  The Impressions  a Bloom Bundle is one of my newest favorite sets and I really have not had time to create with all of the very many different ways you can with this set.  Here's my 2nd go. Soft pastel colors? Count me in!  And these petals exemplify the softness you can achieve with the Impressions a Bloom .  For these flowers, I stamped 2 in Peach Pie ink followed by Timid Tiger ink. The 3rd flower was stamped using Fresh Freesia ink. I first stamped off onto scratch paper and then used full strength for the detailed/outline stamp. Next, I d...

Perfectly Pears for Sunday Stamps!

 It's Sunday and today starts another new challenge at Sunday Stamps! Yahoo!  I love card challenges because it makes you think outside the box and at the same time gives you something to create with whether it be a color challenge or a sketch challenge.   For this weeks creation, I focused on the new Online Exclusive Bundle called Perfectly Pears .  This bundle is part of a suite and the products in the suite are gorgeous.  For this particular creation, I focused on the adorable set of pears and a few of the coordinating dies. I stamped the outline set of pears image using Pecan Pie ink and then stamped the solid part of the pear image using Darling Duckling ink which also had some Timid Tiger ink sponged onto it as well. I then took my Darling Duckling and my Timid Tiger Stampin' Blends and outlined some of the edges of the pears to add more depth to each Pear. Next, I colored the leaves and stem using Old Olive, Mossy Meadow and Pecan Pie Stampin' Blends...
