Sneak Peek for Sunday Stamps! #236

Hello, crafty friends. Today, I have a sneak peek at a new bundle from the 2020 Mini Catalog called In the Pines which can be found on page 43.
For my pre-order, I kept gravitating back to this bundle, and I am happy to report that it does not disappoint.  I love that there are three different sizes of trees in the stamp set so that you can create a completely different scene for your crafty creations.

This is a Two-Step Photopolymer stamp set that can be used for much more than just Christmas.  We have lots of Pine trees like this at our cabin, and at our church - which is called Shepherd of the Pines.
Because it is only July, I couldn't force myself to dive right into my new 2020 Mini Catalog Christmas DSP, so I cheated and used the Flowers for Every Season DSP and paired it with a wood grain piece of DSP from the In Good Taste DSP.

Here's this weeks new challenge at Sunday Stamps! by Heidi:

I stamped the outline image of the tree in Early Espresso ink followed by two trees in Just Jade ink, one in Shaded Spruce and lastly one in Mint Macaron.  These colors work fabulously together.
Another new item I used to accessorize my card with is the Early Espresso Faux Suede Trim.  It feels like butter in your hands. No seriously, it does -not that I touch butter often. lol

  1. Those pines are so pretty in the scene you've created, and I especially love the use of woodgrain paper in the background behind them, ensuring the woodsy feel. Gorgeous holiday card with all the lovely greens!

Impressions a Bloom for Sunday Stamps!

Happy Sunday!  Right now I am knee deep in making decorations for my daughter's upcoming baby shower next weekend and the theme is Winnie the Pooh! lol :)  I am going to be a grandma for the first time and all I can say is that I am really is exciting! I forced myself to clear off my stamping table (well actually just push stuff away) and created a floral card for this weeks new challenge at Sunday Stamps!  The Impressions  a Bloom Bundle is one of my newest favorite sets and I really have not had time to create with all of the very many different ways you can with this set.  Here's my 2nd go. Soft pastel colors? Count me in!  And these petals exemplify the softness you can achieve with the Impressions a Bloom .  For these flowers, I stamped 2 in Peach Pie ink followed by Timid Tiger ink. The 3rd flower was stamped using Fresh Freesia ink. I first stamped off onto scratch paper and then used full strength for the detailed/outline stamp. Next, I d...

Perfectly Pears for Sunday Stamps!

It's Sunday and today starts another new challenge at Sunday Stamps! Yahoo!  I love card challenges because it makes you think outside the box and at the same time gives you something to create with whether it be a color challenge or a sketch challenge.   For this weeks creation, I focused on the new Online Exclusive Bundle called Perfectly Pears .  This bundle is part of a suite and the products in the suite are gorgeous.  For this particular creation, I focused on the adorable set of pears and a few of the coordinating dies. I stamped the outline set of pears image using Pecan Pie ink and then stamped the solid part of the pear image using Darling Duckling ink which also had some Timid Tiger ink sponged onto it as well. I then took my Darling Duckling and my Timid Tiger Stampin' Blends and outlined some of the edges of the pears to add more depth to each Pear. Next, I colored the leaves and stem using Old Olive, Mossy Meadow and Pecan Pie Stampin' Blends...
