Isn't this so much fun? I had to try just about everything from my pre-order! lol I am in love with the new In Color: Cinnamon Cider. It is such a pretty brown color with a hint of rust. I can't wait to get my hands on the Cinnamon Cider ink pad and Stampin' Blends! I am so excited that Stampin' UP! will have Stampin' Blends for 4 of the 5 new In Colors. Honestly, I am so so excited about this.
I also love the new Greenery Embossing Folders. These are slightly thinner in width, and I have found out that this is a "plus" if you want to emboss your card base layer or just part of a card layer. For this creation, I centered the folder over my Pretty Peacock cardstock layer. So fun!
Here's how I colored my sunflower with Stampin' Blends:
- Center of flower: Bronze, and then I went back over with Dark Soft Suede along the outer edge and center;
- Flower Petals: Dark So Saffron, followed by Dark Daffodil Delight and then Dark Mango Melody.
- Leaves: Pretty Peacock.
I know you are going to want to get your hands of this suite! I love that Stampin' UP! has created two bundles in the suite that work awesome together or alone. Very smart!
