The Gang's All Meer

Hello, crafty friends.  Today, I have a fun birthday card to share with you using Sale-a-bration stamp set called The Gang's All Meer.
Are you ready to celebrate? Or should I say Sale-a-brate?  tee-hee.  These meerkats are so cute, aren't they?  I made a quick watercolor wash over them using Crumb Cake and Smokey Slate inks and my Aqua Painter.

Here's a closer look of my quick watercolor wash with reinkers.
It is very important to use either Watercolor paper or in this case, White Shimmer Paper.  It can handle water coloring very well.

I paired my scene with products from the Birthday Bonanza Suite pulling out Bermuda Bay, Terracotta Tile and Daffodil Delight.

Impressions a Bloom for Sunday Stamps!

 Happy Sunday!  Right now I am knee deep in making decorations for my daughter's upcoming baby shower next weekend and the theme is Winnie the Pooh! lol :)  I am going to be a grandma for the first time and all I can say is that I am really is exciting! Perfectly Pears for Sunday Stamps!

 It's Sunday and today starts another new challenge at Sunday Stamps! Yahoo!  I love card challenges because it makes you think outside the box and at the same time gives you something to create with whether it be a color challenge or a sketch challenge.   For this weeks creation, I focused on the new Online Exclusive Bundle called Perfectly Pears .  This bundle is part of a suite and the products in the suite are gorgeous.  For this particular creation, I focused on the adorable set of pears and a few of the coordinating dies. I stamped the outline set of pears image using Pecan Pie ink and then stamped the solid part of the pear image using Darling Duckling ink which also had some Timid Tiger ink sponged onto it as well. I then took my Darling Duckling and my Timid Tiger Stampin' Blends and outlined some of the edges of the pears to add more depth to each Pear.
