Peaceful Poppies Suite

Hello, crafty friends. Today, I am sharing a card creation from the Spring 2020 Mini Catalog which follows the new color challenge at Sunday Stamps!
I had this card designed in my head and I am pleased how quickly it came together.  I used the following products from the Peaceful Poppies Suite:

  • the Painted Poppies Bundle
  • the Peaceful Moments Bundle
  • the Peaceful Poppies Sequins; and
  • the 1/4" Whisper White Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon.

My color theme is: Basic Gray, Gray Granite, Basic Black and Whisper White.  To create my flowers, I embossed them using White Stampin' Emboss powder and then colored them with White Craft ink and an Aqua Painter to give it a white wash look.
Next, I added Sparkle Glimmer Paper flower centers using the Poppy Moments Dies.  After determining my flower placement, I stamped leaves and splotches of black using images from the Painted Poppies stamp set before assembling my card.

Here is this weeks new challenge at Sunday Stamps!
To play along with us, create a crafty creation using at least 3 colors from the above photo and submit it to the Sunday Stamps! challenge blog by Friday, January 10, 2020.
