Cup of Christmas

Hello, crafty friends. Today, I am sharing a Christmas card containing a trio of hot cocoa cups using the Cup of Christmas Bundle from the Holiday Catalog.  HO-HO-HO!
I finally tried out my new Cup of Christmas Bundle and think it works well with the Winter Knit 3D Embossing Folder for a cozy creation. lol My card follows the new sketch challenge at Sunday Stamps!

The Cup of Christmas contains a new style of photopolymer stamps called Reversibles. Reversibles stamps can be stamped on both sides to obtain a mirror image of itself.  The two solid coffee cup images in the Cup of Christmas stamp set are reversible.

I paired my trio of cups with the Let It Snow Specialty DSP.  I love how well this paper works with this stamp set.

Here's this weeks new challenge at Sunday Stamps! by Melissa.

To play along with us, create a crafty creation following the above sketch and submit it to the Sunday Stamps! challenge blog by Friday, November 29, 2019.

I embossed the outline cup image with Silver Embossing Powder and die cut it out using the Cup of Cheer Dies.  There are so many fun images to work with in the Cup of Cheer Dies!

Impressions a Bloom for Sunday Stamps!

Happy Sunday!  Right now I am knee deep in making decorations for my daughter's upcoming baby shower next weekend and the theme is Winnie the Pooh! lol :)  I am going to be a grandma for the first time and all I can say is that I am really is exciting! I forced myself to clear off my stamping table (well actually just push stuff away) and created a floral card for this weeks new challenge at Sunday Stamps!  The Impressions  a Bloom Bundle is one of my newest favorite sets and I really have not had time to create with all of the very many different ways you can with this set.  Here's my 2nd go. Soft pastel colors? Count me in!  And these petals exemplify the softness you can achieve with the Impressions a Bloom .  For these flowers, I stamped 2 in Peach Pie ink followed by Timid Tiger ink. The 3rd flower was stamped using Fresh Freesia ink. I first stamped off onto scratch paper and then used full strength for the detailed/outline stamp. Next, I d...

Perfectly Pears for Sunday Stamps!

It's Sunday and today starts another new challenge at Sunday Stamps! Yahoo!  I love card challenges because it makes you think outside the box and at the same time gives you something to create with whether it be a color challenge or a sketch challenge.   For this weeks creation, I focused on the new Online Exclusive Bundle called Perfectly Pears .  This bundle is part of a suite and the products in the suite are gorgeous.  For this particular creation, I focused on the adorable set of pears and a few of the coordinating dies. I stamped the outline set of pears image using Pecan Pie ink and then stamped the solid part of the pear image using Darling Duckling ink which also had some Timid Tiger ink sponged onto it as well. I then took my Darling Duckling and my Timid Tiger Stampin' Blends and outlined some of the edges of the pears to add more depth to each Pear. Next, I colored the leaves and stem using Old Olive, Mossy Meadow and Pecan Pie Stampin' Blends...
