Sunday Stamps! #213

Hello, crafty friends. It's Sunday and that means we have a new challenge for you to play along with at Sunday Stamps!  Here's what I made using the Gather Together Bundle.
One of my favorite fall stamps sets from last years Holiday Catalog is the Country Home.  I love the canister image in it, and thought it would be ideal to use with the wheat/grass image from the Gather Together stamp set.

Creating the two toned colored grass for my canister was achieved using the Stamparatus and my Crushed Curry and Mossy Meadow Stampin" Write Markers.  The Stamparatus makes this type of stamping super easy to do.
I die cut a Mossy Meadow leaf from the Gathered Leaves Dies and then hand cut it apart before adhering them behind my Crushed Curry colored squash. :)

Here's this weeks new challenge at Sunday Stamps!
To play along, submit your crafty creation to the Sunday Stamps! challenge blog by Friday, September 20, 2019.  BTW: It was great to see so many people participate in last weeks challenge! There were lots of great submissions, and we were so happy to see you join us! :)

I also used the new Come to Gather Designer Series Paper.  It's filled with fun colors and patterns like this fun burlap one.

  2. I love the embossed texture you incorporated in your mix of colors! Your milk can full of wheat grass is so rustic. This is just gorgeous, My Friend! XX

Impressions a Bloom for Sunday Stamps!

Happy Sunday!  Right now I am knee deep in making decorations for my daughter's upcoming baby shower next weekend and the theme is Winnie the Pooh! lol :)  I am going to be a grandma for the first time and all I can say is that I am really is exciting! I forced myself to clear off my stamping table (well actually just push stuff away) and created a floral card for this weeks new challenge at Sunday Stamps!  The Impressions  a Bloom Bundle is one of my newest favorite sets and I really have not had time to create with all of the very many different ways you can with this set.  Here's my 2nd go. Soft pastel colors? Count me in!  And these petals exemplify the softness you can achieve with the Impressions a Bloom .  For these flowers, I stamped 2 in Peach Pie ink followed by Timid Tiger ink. The 3rd flower was stamped using Fresh Freesia ink. I first stamped off onto scratch paper and then used full strength for the detailed/outline stamp. Next, I d...

Perfectly Pears for Sunday Stamps!

It's Sunday and today starts another new challenge at Sunday Stamps! Yahoo!  I love card challenges because it makes you think outside the box and at the same time gives you something to create with whether it be a color challenge or a sketch challenge.   For this weeks creation, I focused on the new Online Exclusive Bundle called Perfectly Pears .  This bundle is part of a suite and the products in the suite are gorgeous.  For this particular creation, I focused on the adorable set of pears and a few of the coordinating dies. I stamped the outline set of pears image using Pecan Pie ink and then stamped the solid part of the pear image using Darling Duckling ink which also had some Timid Tiger ink sponged onto it as well. I then took my Darling Duckling and my Timid Tiger Stampin' Blends and outlined some of the edges of the pears to add more depth to each Pear. Next, I colored the leaves and stem using Old Olive, Mossy Meadow and Pecan Pie Stampin' Blends...
