Sunday Stamps! #207

Eeek! I am so excited to share my card creation with you today for the new color challenge at Sunday Stamps! I used lots of new must have items that you are going to want to add to your stamping arsenal. :)
Aren't the Heirloom Frames Dies and 3D Embossing Folders from the Woven Heirlooms Bundle to die for?  Get it?  ha-ha... I love these frames and the cool embossing texture it creates.  And notice the "wood looking" Crumb Cake layer behind my frame?  I created it using the image below from the Woven Heirlooms stamp set:
How cool is that?  This image creates a very subtle "vintage" look and with the size of it, you can create a background layer in a matter of minutes without much effort.

I could have easily used the matching Woven Threads Designer Series Paper to go along with my project, but I had already made my flowers for the color challenge (Night of Navy, Seaside Spray and Poppy Parade) so I used a piece of Seaside Spray DSP from the 2019-2020 In Color Paper Stack.

Here's this weeks new challenge at Sunday Stamps!:
Now, I know I have been talking only about the awesome Woven Heirlooms Bundle, but I can't forget to mention the awesome Daisy Lane Bundle.  These daisies are da bomb!

Impressions a Bloom for Sunday Stamps!

Happy Sunday!  Right now I am knee deep in making decorations for my daughter's upcoming baby shower next weekend and the theme is Winnie the Pooh! lol :)  I am going to be a grandma for the first time and all I can say is that I am really is exciting! I forced myself to clear off my stamping table (well actually just push stuff away) and created a floral card for this weeks new challenge at Sunday Stamps!  The Impressions  a Bloom Bundle is one of my newest favorite sets and I really have not had time to create with all of the very many different ways you can with this set.  Here's my 2nd go. Soft pastel colors? Count me in!  And these petals exemplify the softness you can achieve with the Impressions a Bloom .  For these flowers, I stamped 2 in Peach Pie ink followed by Timid Tiger ink. The 3rd flower was stamped using Fresh Freesia ink. I first stamped off onto scratch paper and then used full strength for the detailed/outline stamp. Next, I d...

Perfectly Pears for Sunday Stamps!

It's Sunday and today starts another new challenge at Sunday Stamps! Yahoo!  I love card challenges because it makes you think outside the box and at the same time gives you something to create with whether it be a color challenge or a sketch challenge.   For this weeks creation, I focused on the new Online Exclusive Bundle called Perfectly Pears .  This bundle is part of a suite and the products in the suite are gorgeous.  For this particular creation, I focused on the adorable set of pears and a few of the coordinating dies. I stamped the outline set of pears image using Pecan Pie ink and then stamped the solid part of the pear image using Darling Duckling ink which also had some Timid Tiger ink sponged onto it as well. I then took my Darling Duckling and my Timid Tiger Stampin' Blends and outlined some of the edges of the pears to add more depth to each Pear. Next, I colored the leaves and stem using Old Olive, Mossy Meadow and Pecan Pie Stampin' Blends...
