Stampin' UP! Oh So Eclectic

Happy Easter, crafty friends! I am so excited to share today's project with you!  This project showcases the retiring Oh So Eclectic Bundle.  I love this set and I wanted to give it some extra love before it's gone.  This set has some really cool images and the matching dies are just as cool! With all the new stamp sets that keep coming out, I think this set has NOT gotten the attention it really deserves.
I am in love with this bundle!!!  And I am not kidding! I haven't really used it in a while, but I can honestly say that I now feel like I have mastered using all the different pieces in it.  No joke! This  will be one of the sets I will definitely be keeping after it retires.

My floral card was created following this weeks color challenge at Sunday Stamps! I love all the colors!!! How can you go wrong with pops of yellow and purple flowers in your garden? Hello, Spring!  I also used another awesome stamp set that is retiring called Timeless Textures. I used the "wood" image to create my background on the Whisper White layer.

Here's this weeks color challenge:
To play along, choose a minimum of 3 colors from the above picture and create a new project using those colors.  There's plenty of time to play along!! Submit your creation to the Sunday Stamps! challenge blog by Friday, May 3, 2019.

There are so many different ways to create with this stamp set and matching framelits.  To give it one last send off before its gone, I have created an Oh So Eclectic PDF Card Class containing 6 beautiful projects showcasing it!  Plus, let me help you get the most out of your retiring/current stash of Garden Impressions Designer Series Paper!  Each project showcases how to use six patterns of this DSP! Woot-woot!

Impressions a Bloom for Sunday Stamps!

Happy Sunday!  Right now I am knee deep in making decorations for my daughter's upcoming baby shower next weekend and the theme is Winnie the Pooh! lol :)  I am going to be a grandma for the first time and all I can say is that I am really is exciting! I forced myself to clear off my stamping table (well actually just push stuff away) and created a floral card for this weeks new challenge at Sunday Stamps!  The Impressions  a Bloom Bundle is one of my newest favorite sets and I really have not had time to create with all of the very many different ways you can with this set.  Here's my 2nd go. Soft pastel colors? Count me in!  And these petals exemplify the softness you can achieve with the Impressions a Bloom .  For these flowers, I stamped 2 in Peach Pie ink followed by Timid Tiger ink. The 3rd flower was stamped using Fresh Freesia ink. I first stamped off onto scratch paper and then used full strength for the detailed/outline stamp. Next, I d...

Perfectly Pears for Sunday Stamps!

It's Sunday and today starts another new challenge at Sunday Stamps! Yahoo!  I love card challenges because it makes you think outside the box and at the same time gives you something to create with whether it be a color challenge or a sketch challenge.   For this weeks creation, I focused on the new Online Exclusive Bundle called Perfectly Pears .  This bundle is part of a suite and the products in the suite are gorgeous.  For this particular creation, I focused on the adorable set of pears and a few of the coordinating dies. I stamped the outline set of pears image using Pecan Pie ink and then stamped the solid part of the pear image using Darling Duckling ink which also had some Timid Tiger ink sponged onto it as well. I then took my Darling Duckling and my Timid Tiger Stampin' Blends and outlined some of the edges of the pears to add more depth to each Pear. Next, I colored the leaves and stem using Old Olive, Mossy Meadow and Pecan Pie Stampin' Blends...
