Stampin' UP! Hold on to Hope

Hello, crafty friends. We have a new challenge for you to play along with at Sunday Stamps! and this week's pastel colors said Easter to me, so here's what I made using the Hold on to Hope stamp set and matching Cross of Hope Framelits.
I love the Hold on to Hope stamp set.  It is definitely a great stamp set to have for covering not only Easter, but sympathy, confirmation and the like. I will be keeping this one for a long time. :)

I first made a circle template using a Post It Note and then then sponged in Highland Heather, Pool Party and then Balmy Blue inks around my circle.  I then removed the circle and put the negative of the Post It Note around the circle and sponged in Daffodil Delight ink.  The cute little butterflies are from the Butterfly Beauty Framelits and I was able to die cut out 10 at a time since there are SO many framelits in this set.

Here's the color challenge at Sunday Stamps!
Aren't these colors just gorgeous together?  Why not give it a try and play along with us!  Card creations need to be submitted to the Sunday Stamps! challenge blog by Friday, April 5, 2019.

Impressions a Bloom for Sunday Stamps!

Happy Sunday!  Right now I am knee deep in making decorations for my daughter's upcoming baby shower next weekend and the theme is Winnie the Pooh! lol :)  I am going to be a grandma for the first time and all I can say is that I am really is exciting! I forced myself to clear off my stamping table (well actually just push stuff away) and created a floral card for this weeks new challenge at Sunday Stamps!  The Impressions  a Bloom Bundle is one of my newest favorite sets and I really have not had time to create with all of the very many different ways you can with this set.  Here's my 2nd go. Soft pastel colors? Count me in!  And these petals exemplify the softness you can achieve with the Impressions a Bloom .  For these flowers, I stamped 2 in Peach Pie ink followed by Timid Tiger ink. The 3rd flower was stamped using Fresh Freesia ink. I first stamped off onto scratch paper and then used full strength for the detailed/outline stamp. Next, I d...

Perfectly Pears for Sunday Stamps!

It's Sunday and today starts another new challenge at Sunday Stamps! Yahoo!  I love card challenges because it makes you think outside the box and at the same time gives you something to create with whether it be a color challenge or a sketch challenge.   For this weeks creation, I focused on the new Online Exclusive Bundle called Perfectly Pears .  This bundle is part of a suite and the products in the suite are gorgeous.  For this particular creation, I focused on the adorable set of pears and a few of the coordinating dies. I stamped the outline set of pears image using Pecan Pie ink and then stamped the solid part of the pear image using Darling Duckling ink which also had some Timid Tiger ink sponged onto it as well. I then took my Darling Duckling and my Timid Tiger Stampin' Blends and outlined some of the edges of the pears to add more depth to each Pear. Next, I colored the leaves and stem using Old Olive, Mossy Meadow and Pecan Pie Stampin' Blends...
