Onstage 2018 Highlights

Hello, crafty friends! Today, I am sharing a few of the photo's I took while at Onstage in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Here's all the goodies I received and won during the entire Onstage event on Saturday. At check in, each person attending received a new Stampin' UP! bag.  It was filled with lots of fun and new goodies which included a new stamp set, a planner, matching pens, and a light box which can be used to highlight our business name or whatever saying you want. At the end of the day we got to "clean" off the table by taking home the supplies we used during the Make and Takes.  All in all, I came home with 4 new stamp sets, 2 spools of ribbon, a Stampin' Blend marker in a new color (yah!), a planner, the cool light box and some new specialty designer paper.  Yippee!

I was the driver getting us to Milwaukee, and here are the ladies who made the trip with me. Stesha Bloodheart and Jennifer Michalski.  Stesha was one of the Onstage display stampers so we needed to arrive early enough for her to set up on Friday.  After we were settled in, we had a fabulous Italian Dinner together.

Here is a photo of Jennifer and I after checking in on Saturday morning and finding a table.  There were over 1000 Stampin' UP! demonstrators in Milwaukee!

It was so fun to win a prize! Everyone wins a stamp set during the day based on the number you got in your bag. I was number "1" and won a new photopolymer stamp set called "Around the Corner".  I can't wait to try it out!  It was so fun! We all acted like little children when they flashed our number on the screen!  Each one of us jumped up and did a happy dance!
In the afternoon, during our break, we all got a chocolate cupcake in celebration of the 30th year Anniversary of Stampin' UP!.  Of course I had to take a picture...its chocolate you know.

And how cool was it that we ran into Shelly Gardner, Stampin' UP!s Cofounder after the event in the lobby of our hotel!

And here's the new 2018-2019 Stampin' UP! catalog.  It was hard not to look through it during the presentations on Saturday, but I would say that I did a pretty good job paying attention and saving it for the hotel. :)  You can see some of the color revisions merged with existing colors on the front cover. Colors that stand out to me on the cover are: Grapefruit Grove, Petal Pink, Granny Apple Green, Coastal Cabana, Mint Macaron, and Gorgeous Grape.

Stay tuned! I will share the projects we made at the Make and Take portions of the presentation.  In the mean time, don't forget to get your favorites before they're gone!

Quilt card

This is a quilt card I made back in January at my up line's (Chris Smith) home.  I added the embossed flower using  the Daydream Medallions stamp set along with the SAB stamp set Madison Avenue .  These two stamp sets work well together.  The flower petals were made with  the Floral Frames Framelits die.  I will probably store these two sets together. : )  Recipe: Daydream Medallions, Madison Avenue (SAB) and Vintage Verses (SAB) stamp sets; Sycamore Street DSP (SAB), Island Indigo and Tangerine Tango card stock; Island Indigo, Versa Mark pad inks; White Emb. powder, Floral Frames Framelits, Postage Stamp punch, Square Lattice Emb. Folder, Pool Party SAB button and Whisper White Bakers Twine. Enjoy your day!  I have limited time to create my youngest child's birthday card...which is tomorrow!  Happy Stamping, and hope you get to stamp a latte!

Silly Old Bear Suite

Happy Friday! Today, I have 2 very cute creations to share with you using the Silly Old Bear Suite . One Pooh Bear is a die cut right from the Silly Old Bear 12" x 12" DSP , while the other Pooh Bear is stamped in Early Espresso ink and colored with the new Golden Glow Stampin' Blends. Every image on 2 sheets of the Silly Old Bear 12" x 12" DSP can be die cut out using the Sweet Old Friends Dies !  How cool is that?! The first card I made (on the right side) uses the new In Color Crisp Cantaloupe.  I stamped the frame from the Sweet Old Words   Stamp Set using Crisp Cantaloupe and die cut it out using the coordinating Sweet Old Words Dies followed by another Crisp Cantaloupe cardstock layer.   I also die cut 2 honey pot images from the Silly Old Bear 12" x 12" DSP and a tree stump from the Sweet Old Friends Dies.    I created a 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" money holder card using a 7 1/4" x 5 1/2" piece of Crisp Cantaloupe cardstock scored ...
