Happy St. Patrick's Day

Hello, crafty friends and Happy St. Patrick's Day!  I have me some Irish heritage - how about you?  I felt compelled to whip up something festive to acknowledge St. Patty's Day. :)
This festive card makes me think of my favorite coffee drink: a Peppermint Mocha. :)  This is a super easy card to make with its monochromatic color of Garden Green.. The only time consuming part was making the 3 left clovers out of the heart image in the stamp set for the coffee sleeve. But since this is a photolymer stamp set, creating a 3 leaf clover pattern was fun!

The heart  below the sentiment is from the Hearts and Stars Elements and I colored it with my Garden Green marker to match my theme.

The sentiment from the Charming Cafe Bundle worked perfect for my card, and I know just the right recipient for this card. :)

Impressions a Bloom for Sunday Stamps!

 Happy Sunday!  Right now I am knee deep in making decorations for my daughter's upcoming baby shower next weekend and the theme is Winnie the Pooh! lol :)  I am going to be a grandma for the first time and all I can say is that I am really is exciting! Perfectly Pears for Sunday Stamps!

 It's Sunday and today starts another new challenge at Sunday Stamps! Yahoo!  I love card challenges because it makes you think outside the box and at the same time gives you something to create with whether it be a color challenge or a sketch challenge.   For this weeks creation, I focused on the new Online Exclusive Bundle called Perfectly Pears .  This bundle is part of a suite and the products in the suite are gorgeous.  For this particular creation, I focused on the adorable set of pears and a few of the coordinating dies. I stamped the outline set of pears image using Pecan Pie ink and then stamped the solid part of the pear image using Darling Duckling ink which also had some Timid Tiger ink sponged onto it as well. I then took my Darling Duckling and my Timid Tiger Stampin' Blends and outlined some of the edges of the pears to add more depth to each Pear.
