Beautiful Day

Hello, crafty friends. Today, I am sharing a card I made using the Beautiful Day stamp set. I paired it with the Sale-a-bration Basket Weave Embossing Folder.

The butterfly was embossed in gold on Whisper White cardstock and colored with the light and dark Daffodil Delight Stampin' Blends markers.  I hand cut it out and  also added a little bit of Clear Wink of Stella to the light Daffodil Delight colored areas.

For the Pool Party panel, I first embossed the flower cluster image in White Embossing powder and then ran it through the Basket Weave Embossing Folder. The Gold Facet Gems work great with this butterfly image.

Impressions a Bloom for Sunday Stamps!

 Happy Sunday!  Right now I am knee deep in making decorations for my daughter's upcoming baby shower next weekend and the theme is Winnie the Pooh! lol :)  I am going to be a grandma for the first time and all I can say is that I am really is exciting! Perfectly Pears for Sunday Stamps!

 It's Sunday and today starts another new challenge at Sunday Stamps! Yahoo!  I love card challenges because it makes you think outside the box and at the same time gives you something to create with whether it be a color challenge or a sketch challenge.   For this weeks creation, I focused on the new Online Exclusive Bundle called Perfectly Pears .  This bundle is part of a suite and the products in the suite are gorgeous.  For this particular creation, I focused on the adorable set of pears and a few of the coordinating dies. I stamped the outline set of pears image using Pecan Pie ink and then stamped the solid part of the pear image using Darling Duckling ink which also had some Timid Tiger ink sponged onto it as well. I then took my Darling Duckling and my Timid Tiger Stampin' Blends and outlined some of the edges of the pears to add more depth to each Pear.
