Heartfelt Blooms

You can't go wrong with the Heartfelt Blooms Sale-a-bration stamp set.  It's super easy to whip up a beautiful creation without much effort!

Recently, I shared these cards with my stamp club ladies to show how easy it is to create a fantastic background with this stamp set.  Just think of all the color combination you can create with these easy layouts!  Here, I have Calypso Coral and Peekaboo Peach.

Don't cheat yourself or this stamp set by using "generic" white cardstock.  The depth and detail in this beautiful stamp will be missed!  Make sure to use Stampin' UP!s Whisper White cardstock where you will see all the depth and detail the stamp has to offer.

  1. Beautiful! Did you stamp the yellow images first and then the organge? How did you color the centre of the flowers with yellow? Thank you!

    1. Hello, Debbie! I stamped the flower image in Peekaboo Peach ink randomly onto Whisper White cardstock. Clean it, and then the image in Calypso Coral ink. Next, I went back and sponged in Daffodil Delight ink into the centers of the flowers. Hope that helps!

Impressions a Bloom for Sunday Stamps!

Happy Sunday!  Right now I am knee deep in making decorations for my daughter's upcoming baby shower next weekend and the theme is Winnie the Pooh! lol :)  I am going to be a grandma for the first time and all I can say is that I am really is exciting! I forced myself to clear off my stamping table (well actually just push stuff away) and created a floral card for this weeks new challenge at Sunday Stamps!  The Impressions  a Bloom Bundle is one of my newest favorite sets and I really have not had time to create with all of the very many different ways you can with this set.  Here's my 2nd go. Soft pastel colors? Count me in!  And these petals exemplify the softness you can achieve with the Impressions a Bloom .  For these flowers, I stamped 2 in Peach Pie ink followed by Timid Tiger ink. The 3rd flower was stamped using Fresh Freesia ink. I first stamped off onto scratch paper and then used full strength for the detailed/outline stamp. Next, I d...

Perfectly Pears for Sunday Stamps!

It's Sunday and today starts another new challenge at Sunday Stamps! Yahoo!  I love card challenges because it makes you think outside the box and at the same time gives you something to create with whether it be a color challenge or a sketch challenge.   For this weeks creation, I focused on the new Online Exclusive Bundle called Perfectly Pears .  This bundle is part of a suite and the products in the suite are gorgeous.  For this particular creation, I focused on the adorable set of pears and a few of the coordinating dies. I stamped the outline set of pears image using Pecan Pie ink and then stamped the solid part of the pear image using Darling Duckling ink which also had some Timid Tiger ink sponged onto it as well. I then took my Darling Duckling and my Timid Tiger Stampin' Blends and outlined some of the edges of the pears to add more depth to each Pear. Next, I colored the leaves and stem using Old Olive, Mossy Meadow and Pecan Pie Stampin' Blends...
