Preorder your Stamparatus starting November 16th!

UPDATE: The Stamparatus preordering window is closed.  The next ordering window is December 5, 2017.

EEEK! It's so exciting to share the news!

While at Onstage 2017, Sara Douglass, Stampin' UP!s CEO, demonstrated a new stamping tool called the "Stamparatus".
You are going to love it! Here's just a few reasons why you need one:
·   Make multiple stamped images with ease
·   Consistently stamp crisp, clean images
·   If you want a darker impression, apply more ink and restamp—no need to start over
·   Make fewer mistakes, saving time and money

and my favorite part of the Stamparatus:
·   Easily create 2-step, 3-step, and 4-step stamped images using the reversible plates!
Some specific details about the new Stamparatus:
·   Compatible with Stampin’ Up!’s red rubber and photopolymer stamp
·   Foam mat to use with photopolymer stamps
·   Rulers and gridlines for quick measuring
·   2 open sides so you can stamp on larger paper
·   2 reversible plates: a total of 4 surfaces to work with
·   2 magnets to hold the paper in place
·   Magnet storage areas
and best of all
·   Retail Price: only–$49.00!!!  woo-who!

Take a look at how it works.  The side plates are removable and can be used on both sides.  They can also be moved up or down along the hinges to create a perfectly lined up row of stamped images!

The Stamparatus definitely made me say 'WOW":

With the launch of this tool, Stampin' UP! is trying something different. They are testing a new reservation system. It acts like a true preorder in that you reserve your spot and Stampin' UP! guarantees shipment as soon as the product arrives in their warehouse.
This reservation system will allow Stampin' UP! to get the product to market as soon as possible while avoiding backorders and efficiently managing inventory.
This is a global launch and will feature three reservation windows. For each window, please note the following:
·   Reservation quantities are while supplies last.
·   Limit is 1 tool per customer per reservation window.
·   You can participate in multiple reservation windows.
·   In order to reserve your Stamparatus, you are required to provide your credit card information.
·   Credit cards will not be charged until the Stamparatus ships from our facility. When you close your order, be sure to verify that your credit card and shipping information is correct.

Impressions a Bloom for Sunday Stamps!

Happy Sunday!  Right now I am knee deep in making decorations for my daughter's upcoming baby shower next weekend and the theme is Winnie the Pooh! lol :)  I am going to be a grandma for the first time and all I can say is that I am really is exciting! I forced myself to clear off my stamping table (well actually just push stuff away) and created a floral card for this weeks new challenge at Sunday Stamps!  The Impressions  a Bloom Bundle is one of my newest favorite sets and I really have not had time to create with all of the very many different ways you can with this set.  Here's my 2nd go. Soft pastel colors? Count me in!  And these petals exemplify the softness you can achieve with the Impressions a Bloom .  For these flowers, I stamped 2 in Peach Pie ink followed by Timid Tiger ink. The 3rd flower was stamped using Fresh Freesia ink. I first stamped off onto scratch paper and then used full strength for the detailed/outline stamp. Next, I d...

Perfectly Pears for Sunday Stamps!

It's Sunday and today starts another new challenge at Sunday Stamps! Yahoo!  I love card challenges because it makes you think outside the box and at the same time gives you something to create with whether it be a color challenge or a sketch challenge.   For this weeks creation, I focused on the new Online Exclusive Bundle called Perfectly Pears .  This bundle is part of a suite and the products in the suite are gorgeous.  For this particular creation, I focused on the adorable set of pears and a few of the coordinating dies. I stamped the outline set of pears image using Pecan Pie ink and then stamped the solid part of the pear image using Darling Duckling ink which also had some Timid Tiger ink sponged onto it as well. I then took my Darling Duckling and my Timid Tiger Stampin' Blends and outlined some of the edges of the pears to add more depth to each Pear. Next, I colored the leaves and stem using Old Olive, Mossy Meadow and Pecan Pie Stampin' Blends...
