Congrats for #GDP106

Hello, stamping friends. Today, I am sharing a wedding card  I made following the sketch challenge at Global Design Project.  We have 2 weddings this October, and although I do have some wedding cards stashed away, making a new one with new goodies is always fun - if you actually have the time to do it- right? :)  Here's what I made:

I actually did not know what I was going to do, I just knew that I wanted to use washi tape as the rectangle area on the sketch challenge and then everything else just fell into place.  I have to admit that the Garden Trellis Embossing Folder is my favorite new folder from the annual catalog. :)

I was one of the winners at Global Design Project for challenge #106! Yippee!
Card Supplies:

  • Celebration Time Bundle, Beautiful Bouquet and Happy Birthday Gorgeous stamp sets
  • Thick Whisper White, Soft Sky, Lemon Lime Twist, Calypso Coral and Bermuda Bay cardstock
  • Tangerine Tango, Bermuda Bay and Lemon Lime Twist ink
  • Versamark, Silver Embossing powder, Large Numbers Framelits, Layering Circles Framelits, Stitched Shapes Framelits, Silver Foil Sheet, Basic Pack 1, 2 and 3 Washi Tape, Aqua Painter, 3/8" Silver Metallic Edge Ribbon, Rhinestones
Here's the sketch challenge:

Here's a close up of the cake:

I love these bright, fun colors together!  To me, this wedding card says happy.  :)

Thanks for stopping by today.  I will be working on a new IN THE MAIL CLASS for October- can't wait to share with you soon. Till then, happy stamping!
