Trick or Treat

Hello, crafty friends!  Today, I am sharing a fun project I made using the super fun Cookie Cutter Halloween stamp set and Cookie Cutter Builder punch from the Holiday catalog.  The Halloween stamp set and the Cookie Cutter Christmas stamp set Bundle are part of my October IN THE MAIL class. If you purchase these 3 items, I will send you supplies to make 4 adorable projects (2 from each stamp set) including a PDF of the projects and I will also include a 5th completed project for FREE!  Class details are HERE.

This is a 4 1/2" x 4 1/2" treat holder.  I used my favorite image in the stamp set. Can you say cuteness??

I stamped "her" in Archival Basic Black ink and then used a Blender pen to lightly color around her bones.  You probably aren't able to see in this picture, but I colored her eyes and teeth with Clear Wink of Stella. I added a Pumpkin Pie bow, and she's ready to go trick or treating!

And there's a "he" on the inside ready for a rhyme and a treat!

Supplies:

  • Stamps: Cookie Cutter Halloween, Spooky Fun and Labeler Alphabet;
  • Ink:  Archival Basic Black, Pumpkin Pie and Smoky Slate;
  • Cardstock: Basic Gray, Pumpkin Pie and Whisper White;
  • Accessories: Cookie Cutter Builder punch,  Layering Circles Framelits, Halloween Night Specialty DSP,  Pumpkin Pie Halloween Night Baker's Twine, Halloween Night Enamel Dots, Metallics Sequins, Blender Pen

Impressions a Bloom for Sunday Stamps!

 Happy Sunday!  Right now I am knee deep in making decorations for my daughter's upcoming baby shower next weekend and the theme is Winnie the Pooh! lol :)  I am going to be a grandma for the first time and all I can say is that I am really is exciting! I forced myself to clear off my stamping table (well actually just push stuff away) and created a floral card for this weeks new challenge at Sunday Stamps!  The Impressions  a Bloom Bundle is one of my newest favorite sets and I really have not had time to create with all of the very many different ways you can with this set.  Here's my 2nd go. Soft pastel colors? Count me in!  And these petals exemplify the softness you can achieve with the Impressions a Bloom .  For these flowers, I stamped 2 in Peach Pie ink followed by Timid Tiger ink. The 3rd flower was stamped using Fresh Freesia ink. I first stamped off onto scratch paper and then used full strength for the detailed/outline stamp. Next, I d...

Perfectly Pears for Sunday Stamps!

 It's Sunday and today starts another new challenge at Sunday Stamps! Yahoo!  I love card challenges because it makes you think outside the box and at the same time gives you something to create with whether it be a color challenge or a sketch challenge.   For this weeks creation, I focused on the new Online Exclusive Bundle called Perfectly Pears .  This bundle is part of a suite and the products in the suite are gorgeous.  For this particular creation, I focused on the adorable set of pears and a few of the coordinating dies. I stamped the outline set of pears image using Pecan Pie ink and then stamped the solid part of the pear image using Darling Duckling ink which also had some Timid Tiger ink sponged onto it as well. I then took my Darling Duckling and my Timid Tiger Stampin' Blends and outlined some of the edges of the pears to add more depth to each Pear. Next, I colored the leaves and stem using Old Olive, Mossy Meadow and Pecan Pie Stampin' Blends...
