Jar of Love

Hello, crafty friends.  Today I am sharing a card I made using the Jar of Love stamp set.  It really is an awesome stamp set and I am excited to stamp with friends at my "Jar of Love Bundle" class next week.


And what do you think of the banner?  I haven't had much time to play with the Birthday Fiesta Bundle- but I love how the banner turned out here.  And who doesn't like sparkly flowers?  Thank you Wink of Stella.

Card Recipe:
  • Stamps: Jar of Love, Birthday Fiesta.
  • Paper: Sweet Sugar Plum, Pool Party,Whisper White and Vellum cardstock.
  • Ink: Black Stazon, Sweet Sugar Plum, Elegant Eggplant, Garden Green and Pool Party.
  • Accessories: Everyday Jar Framelits, Fiesta Time Framelits, Pedal Burst Embossing Folder, Clear Wink of Stella, Pearl Jewels, Dimensionals.

Impressions a Bloom for Sunday Stamps!

 Happy Sunday!  Right now I am knee deep in making decorations for my daughter's upcoming baby shower next weekend and the theme is Winnie the Pooh! lol :)  I am going to be a grandma for the first time and all I can say is that I am really is exciting! I forced myself to clear off my stamping table (well actually just push stuff away) and created a floral card for this weeks new challenge at Sunday Stamps!  The Impressions  a Bloom Bundle is one of my newest favorite sets and I really have not had time to create with all of the very many different ways you can with this set.  Here's my 2nd go. Soft pastel colors? Count me in!  And these petals exemplify the softness you can achieve with the Impressions a Bloom .  For these flowers, I stamped 2 in Peach Pie ink followed by Timid Tiger ink. Perfectly Pears for Sunday Stamps!

 It's Sunday and today starts another new challenge at Sunday Stamps! Yahoo!  I love card challenges because it makes you think outside the box and at the same time gives you something to create with whether it be a color challenge or a sketch challenge.   For this weeks creation, I focused on the new Online Exclusive Bundle called Perfectly Pears .  This bundle is part of a suite and the products in the suite are gorgeous.  For this particular creation, I focused on the adorable set of pears and a few of the coordinating dies. I stamped the outline set of pears image using Pecan Pie ink and then stamped the solid part of the pear image using Darling Duckling ink which also had some Timid Tiger ink sponged onto it as well. I then took my Darling Duckling and my Timid Tiger Stampin' Blends and outlined some of the edges of the pears to add more depth to each Pear.
