Holiday Catalog: Winter Wonderland

Have you seen the Winter Wonderland collection in the Holiday Catalog?
Stampin' UP! has put together a fabulous winter set accented in metallic gold and black.  I love the richness and woodsy feel this collection brings.  Here's a card showing you what I mean:



The beautiful tall trees were stamped in Versamark ink directly onto the Winter Wonderland Specialty DSP and were then embossed in white.  This was layered onto a piece of Pool Party cardstock and then adhered to a white cardstock base.  The deer antlers were stamped in Versamark ink and embossed in gold and fussy cut out.  The sentiment embossed in gold on Pool Party brings the richness of the black and white down a bit for an over all soft woodsy feel.  And to finish the card off,  I added a few gold sequins and a piece of Gold Cording Trim.

Impressions a Bloom for Sunday Stamps!

 Happy Sunday!  Right now I am knee deep in making decorations for my daughter's upcoming baby shower next weekend and the theme is Winnie the Pooh! lol :)  I am going to be a grandma for the first time and all I can say is that I am really is exciting! Perfectly Pears for Sunday Stamps!

 It's Sunday and today starts another new challenge at Sunday Stamps! Yahoo!  I love card challenges because it makes you think outside the box and at the same time gives you something to create with whether it be a color challenge or a sketch challenge.   For this weeks creation, I focused on the new Online Exclusive Bundle called Perfectly Pears .  This bundle is part of a suite and the products in the suite are gorgeous.  For this particular creation, I focused on the adorable set of pears and a few of the coordinating dies. I stamped the outline set of pears image using Pecan Pie ink and then stamped the solid part of the pear image using Darling Duckling ink which also had some Timid Tiger ink sponged onto it as well. I then took my Darling Duckling and my Timid Tiger Stampin' Blends and outlined some of the edges of the pears to add more depth to each Pear.
