FMS #155: Coral and Turquoise Birthday Wishes

Hello! I am behind on some birthday cards and was finally able to stamp a little bit this morning. Yippee! Can't wait till I can stamp regularly, but until then, I will be happy to get what time I can. The card design layout it based on the Freshly Made Sketches challenge blog.  Here is the challenge:
A pretty simple and fun layout using a tag as the focal point.  Well, I must confess that although I started out with a tag, I changed it several (million) times and ended up with a different focal point. : ) I wanted to use Coral Calypso and Tempting Turquoise- for no particular reason.....just came to me and so that's what I went with.
I love, love the Hostess set: Bloom with Hope.  I have been encouraging my customers to get this set when they are hostesses.  It's so pretty and so easy to color.  For these flowers, I used Daffodil Delight, Calypso Coral, Coastal Cabana and Old Olive Blendabilities. I also used a turquoise color copic marker: B05 to help shade in the petals. I hope the recipient likes the card I made her. Happy Stamping!

  1. I love the focal point you ended up with! Great choice to use these flowers. They look so pretty colored blue. Thanks for joining us at Freshly Made Sketches!

  2. Absolutely beautiful Annette! Your flowers are colouring perfectly and the colours you've used are just lovely together. Thanks for joining us at FMS this week!

Thank you for taking the time to post a comment with me! Happy stamping!
