Sneak Peek #4: Blended Birthday card

Hello! I hope that you had an enjoyable Memorial Day weekend.  This Memorial weekend was exceptionally awesome weather.  Usually its cold, or raining or both!  The rain held off until Monday afternoon, so it was great.  I have been so busy that it is hard to find time to stamp.  But I can't live without I did sneak in a little stamping today. :)  I played along with two challenges.  The first is a picture inspiration challenge from Stampin' Royalty and my card design follows the sketch at The Paper Players blog.  Here are the challenges:

And here's my card creation:
I had so much fun making this card!  I have been dying to play with my new Stampin' UP! Blendabilities and today I finally did!  My coloring isn't the greatest, I admit, but gosh darn, it was so much fun to play with those cool new alcohol markers!  For the Blended Bloom single stamp, I used Cherry Cobbler and Coastal Cabana Blendabilities. I also used a light pink Copic marker from my stash of goodies.  :)

Here is a list of the supplies I used. Not sure why the Blended Bloom image isn't appearing...such is life. :)

  1. Annette, I love everything about your card! The colors, polka dots and the beautiful coloring is amazing! Your card makes me happy! XX

  2. Very pretty, Annette! I love that Stampin' Royalty inspiration photo! Gorgeous take on it, your flowers are all so pretty! Thanks for playing with my sketch this week, too!

  3. Annette, this is pure gorgeousness! Wow, just WOW! The polka dots, parrtens and embossing really make that bold blossom POP! So pretty, in every way. Thank you so much for joining us this week at the Paper Players! Big hugs! :)

  4. Congratulations, Annette! I knew this card was a WINNER! XX

  5. I really like your use of the flower in the Something To Say Stamp set with the big blossom. Your coloring is great!! You're so talented. Please join us at AAA Cards Challenge this week. I'd LOVE to see what you create!
