So thankful for You

Hello, fellow stampers!  Tomorrow is Thanksgiving, and I wanted to thank each and everyone of you for all of the sweet comments you have made on my blog. Thank you so very much! I appreciate each and everyone of your comments. : ).
Today I am sharing an "odd" sized Thanksgiving card and matching envelope that we made at a recent stamp club.  I purposely made the card an odd shape so that we could make a matching envelope using the very cool Envelope Punch Board.  That thing is so much fun!  I am sure you have seen the many, many things you can make with this simple tool.  Today's post shows a file folder look on the card as well as the matching envelope.  We used basic White card stock to create the envelope and stamped the inside to match the card.  NOTE: Using card stock instead of your DSP will save you money  if you are making a lot of the same thing- which we were.   The 2nd picture isn't the best to show the cool envelope....but you certainly get the concept. :)  Without further delay here it is:
Everyone's card looked a little different as we used different pieces of the Sweater Weather DSP.

RECIPE:
STAMPS: Wonderfall, Gorgeous Grunge and Banner Greetings
INK: Pumpkin Pie, Chocolate Chip, Crushed Curry and Baked Brown Sugar
PAPER: Sweater Weather DSP, Chocolate Chip and Whisper White card stock
ACCESSORIES: Autumn Accents Die, Envelope Punch Board, 1 1/4" Burlap, Linen Thread and Chocolate Chip Brads.

Have a blessed Thanksgiving celebration with family and friends everyone!  Safe travels too!
P.S: Don't forget to stop by on Saturday for the new Dynamic Duos challenge of the week! Till then, happy stamping!!!

Impressions a Bloom for Sunday Stamps!

Happy Sunday!  Right now I am knee deep in making decorations for my daughter's upcoming baby shower next weekend and the theme is Winnie the Pooh! lol :)  I am going to be a grandma for the first time and all I can say is that I am really is exciting! I forced myself to clear off my stamping table (well actually just push stuff away) and created a floral card for this weeks new challenge at Sunday Stamps!  The Impressions  a Bloom Bundle is one of my newest favorite sets and I really have not had time to create with all of the very many different ways you can with this set.  Here's my 2nd go. Soft pastel colors? Count me in!  And these petals exemplify the softness you can achieve with the Impressions a Bloom .  For these flowers, I stamped 2 in Peach Pie ink followed by Timid Tiger ink. The 3rd flower was stamped using Fresh Freesia ink. I first stamped off onto scratch paper and then used full strength for the detailed/outline stamp. Next, I d...

Perfectly Pears for Sunday Stamps!

It's Sunday and today starts another new challenge at Sunday Stamps! Yahoo!  I love card challenges because it makes you think outside the box and at the same time gives you something to create with whether it be a color challenge or a sketch challenge.   For this weeks creation, I focused on the new Online Exclusive Bundle called Perfectly Pears .  This bundle is part of a suite and the products in the suite are gorgeous.  For this particular creation, I focused on the adorable set of pears and a few of the coordinating dies. I stamped the outline set of pears image using Pecan Pie ink and then stamped the solid part of the pear image using Darling Duckling ink which also had some Timid Tiger ink sponged onto it as well. I then took my Darling Duckling and my Timid Tiger Stampin' Blends and outlined some of the edges of the pears to add more depth to each Pear. Next, I colored the leaves and stem using Old Olive, Mossy Meadow and Pecan Pie Stampin' Blends...
