I have three cards to share with you today.


Ok, some of you are saying "hey, you said you weren't getting that set". Well...I wasn't until it kinda grew on me. Doesn't that ever happen to you? It's really Beate's fault. I love to visit her blog. I am not a computer wiz...if you haven't figured that out by now...so I can't put a direct link to it here. I have it saved in my favorites...so I don't know the email address as I type this post. But most of you know who I am talking about anyways!
I stamped the birds feet in close to cocoa and stamped it on whisper white card stock. I then stamped another bird in sky blue and took my chocolate chip marker and drew around all the flowers on the birds belly. I stamped it and cut it out- excluding the feet. I then used my blender pen and groovy guava reinker to fill in the flower area of the bird. I think the rest is self explanatory. John's uncle; Uncle John passed away recently. He was 95. WOW! He was John's mom's brother. So I needed to make at least 2 sympathy cards. I also made a cute card using the Pun Fun set...but decided to save it for our make and take. I know you will love it! Impressions a Bloom for Sunday Stamps!

 Happy Sunday!  Right now I am knee deep in making decorations for my daughter's upcoming baby shower next weekend and the theme is Winnie the Pooh! lol :)  I am going to be a grandma for the first time and all I can say is that I am really is exciting! I forced myself to clear off my stamping table (well actually just push stuff away) and created a floral card for this weeks new challenge at Sunday Stamps!  The Impressions  a Bloom Bundle is one of my newest favorite sets and I really have not had time to create with all of the very many different ways you can with this set.  Here's my 2nd go. Soft pastel colors? Count me in!  And these petals exemplify the softness you can achieve with the Impressions a Bloom .  For these flowers, I stamped 2 in Peach Pie ink followed by Timid Tiger ink. Perfectly Pears for Sunday Stamps!

 It's Sunday and today starts another new challenge at Sunday Stamps! Yahoo!  I love card challenges because it makes you think outside the box and at the same time gives you something to create with whether it be a color challenge or a sketch challenge.   For this weeks creation, I focused on the new Online Exclusive Bundle called Perfectly Pears .  This bundle is part of a suite and the products in the suite are gorgeous.  For this particular creation, I focused on the adorable set of pears and a few of the coordinating dies. I stamped the outline set of pears image using Pecan Pie ink and then stamped the solid part of the pear image using Darling Duckling ink which also had some Timid Tiger ink sponged onto it as well. I then took my Darling Duckling and my Timid Tiger Stampin' Blends and outlined some of the edges of the pears to add more depth to each Pear. Next, I colored the leaves and stem using Old Olive, Mossy Meadow and Pecan Pie Stampin' Blends...
