Here's one the Christmas cards we made at our November Hostess Club. We only used the Season of Joy stamp set. With 8 pieces in the set, you can create many different layouts. We used River Rock, Always Artichoke, and Holiday Harmony DS paper. We used Whisper white and Always artichoke craft pads to stamp the background, trees and snow beneath the trees. One tree was embossed with Hologram Highlights (retired-ug!) and is secured with stampin dimensionals. Snow flakes were cut out by hand and glued to purely pomegranate stitched ribbon. A very pretty card to see in person - if I do say so myself! :)
Happy Sunday! Right now I am knee deep in making decorations for my daughter's upcoming baby shower next weekend and the theme is Winnie the Pooh! lol :) I am going to be a grandma for the first time and all I can say is that I am really is exciting! I forced myself to clear off my stamping table (well actually just push stuff away) and created a floral card for this weeks new challenge at Sunday Stamps! The Impressions a Bloom Bundle is one of my newest favorite sets and I really have not had time to create with all of the very many different ways you can with this set. Here's my 2nd go. Soft pastel colors? Count me in! And these petals exemplify the softness you can achieve with the Impressions a Bloom . For these flowers, I stamped 2 in Peach Pie ink followed by Timid Tiger ink.
