Thanksgiving birthdays! My dad and husband share the same birthday. This year it fell on Thanksgiving. I have been sick most of November with a bad sinus infection..and did not have time to stamp before my family from out of town arrived. I bought this set last summer when it went on the retirement list. Guess which card was made for the my husband, and which one was made for my dad! tee-hee, hee! These are quick and simple cards to make...but do you really think if I had five million layers and embossing, and glitter- that they would know I spent hours to make it? NAHH! Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving celebration.
Happy Sunday! Right now I am knee deep in making decorations for my daughter's upcoming baby shower next weekend and the theme is Winnie the Pooh! lol :) I am going to be a grandma for the first time and all I can say is that I am really is exciting! I forced myself to clear off my stamping table (well actually just push stuff away) and created a floral card for this weeks new challenge at Sunday Stamps! The Impressions a Bloom Bundle is one of my newest favorite sets and I really have not had time to create with all of the very many different ways you can with this set. Here's my 2nd go. Soft pastel colors? Count me in! And these petals exemplify the softness you can achieve with the Impressions a Bloom . For these flowers, I stamped 2 in Peach Pie ink followed by Timid Tiger ink.
