Tis the Season for Sunday Stamps! #135

Happy Patriots Day to all of you who have lost a friend or loved one in the terrorist attacks against our great country America.  Hopefully as I write this post, today will be uneventful with no additional tragedies to add to the count of lost Americans.  I pray for peace.

Today starts a new challenge at Sunday Stamps!  Here's this weeks bright and cheery color challenge:

And here's what I created using the Cookie Cutter Christmas stamp set and Cookie Cutter Builder punch Bundle:

I colored the cute little Eskimo girl using my Aqua Painter and Melon Mambo, Bermuda Bay, Daffodil Delight and Mint Macraon ink refills.  I also added Clear Wink of Stella to all the Melon Mambo areas- but I wasn't able to capture the sparkle in the photo.

Supplies:

stamps: Cookie Cutter Christmas, Peaceful Pines and Christmas Pines
ink: Basic Black, Melon Mambo, Bermuda Bay, Daffodil Delight, and Mint Macaron
paper: Bermuda Bay and Melon Mambo
accessories: Cookie Cutter Builder punch, Perfect Pines Framelits, Versmark, White Embossing powder, Softly Falling Embossing folder, Bermuda Bay Baker's Twine, Aqua Painter and Crushed Curry Enamel Dots.

So now that you have seen my creation, please head on over to Sunday Stamps! and check out what the other design team members have made and then join in on the fun!

Impressions a Bloom for Sunday Stamps!

Happy Sunday!  Right now I am knee deep in making decorations for my daughter's upcoming baby shower next weekend and the theme is Winnie the Pooh! lol :)  I am going to be a grandma for the first time and all I can say is that I am really is exciting! I forced myself to clear off my stamping table (well actually just push stuff away) and created a floral card for this weeks new challenge at Sunday Stamps!  The Impressions  a Bloom Bundle is one of my newest favorite sets and I really have not had time to create with all of the very many different ways you can with this set.  Here's my 2nd go. Soft pastel colors? Count me in!  And these petals exemplify the softness you can achieve with the Impressions a Bloom .  For these flowers, I stamped 2 in Peach Pie ink followed by Timid Tiger ink. The 3rd flower was stamped using Fresh Freesia ink. I first stamped off onto scratch paper and then used full strength for the detailed/outline stamp. Next, I d...

Perfectly Pears for Sunday Stamps!

It's Sunday and today starts another new challenge at Sunday Stamps! Yahoo!  I love card challenges because it makes you think outside the box and at the same time gives you something to create with whether it be a color challenge or a sketch challenge.   For this weeks creation, I focused on the new Online Exclusive Bundle called Perfectly Pears .  This bundle is part of a suite and the products in the suite are gorgeous.  For this particular creation, I focused on the adorable set of pears and a few of the coordinating dies. I stamped the outline set of pears image using Pecan Pie ink and then stamped the solid part of the pear image using Darling Duckling ink which also had some Timid Tiger ink sponged onto it as well. I then took my Darling Duckling and my Timid Tiger Stampin' Blends and outlined some of the edges of the pears to add more depth to each Pear. Next, I colored the leaves and stem using Old Olive, Mossy Meadow and Pecan Pie Stampin' Blends...
