Open House Make and Take Projects

Here are the three projects we made at my Open House on Saturday, August 23, 2008. The first card uses the very lovely Dreams Du Jour stamp set with the awesome new In Color: Baja Breeze card stock and its matching Patterns DS paper. The second card uses the Level 3 Hostess set:Happiness Always. We two stepped stamped the flower in two more new In Colors: Pink Pirouette and Riding Hood Red. The DS paper is Bella Rose. This was my favorite project of the three we made. This last card uses a Level 2 Hostess set: Fall Flair and we embossed the outline leaf with Chocolate chip craft pad and iridescent ice emb . powder. Again we used two more In Colors: Kiwi Kiss and Tangerine Tango. Bella Rose DS paper was also used with Kraft taffeta ribbon. Love that taffeta! Enjoy! Annette

Busy as a Bee over here!

Yes, it's true. I have had NO time to stamp and I'm having my Open House on Saturday! Are you saying "what?" Well, we ran up to Canada this past weekend...and for the very first time in my life...I didn't bring one stamp! It was so beautiful out...not a cloud in the sky. We swam, tubed, fished, played cards, ate snacks and just sat looking at the beautiful lake either on the deck or the dock. The boys never sat down...they fished the minute they got up to the minute they went to bed. Zachary is such a hoot when it comes to fishing. He wanted me to take a picture of every single fish he caught! John took Monday off so we could actually enjoy the weekend, and we got home late last night. I will be busy getting ready for my Open House Make and Take on Saturday, August 23, 2008. There is still time to join us! Remember: I am offering FREE SHIPPING on all orders (at my Open House or through email by 8/22/08) of $35 or more. And don't forget about the "Never Be...

New Card Element Kit

I've been busy organizing the million of photo's that I have taken over the past several months...and trying to organize which photo's I want to scrapbook...and waiting patiently for the "stamp man" as my family says...to drop off my catalogs....If they don't arrive soon I just don't know what will happen! This is a card I made from the new Flower Power Simply Sent Card Kit that demos were allowed to pre-order. It was on back order FOREVER!!!! I swear it took almost a month for me to get it! This card kit makes 9 cards (3 each of 3 designs). You supply the stamps and ink, and all the other embellishments are provided (including buttons, brads and ribbons). It's very nice for beginner stampers or for a gift for non-stampers, or for yourself to embellish it as you want. I plan to cut the textured card stock in half (as I did for this one) and use my regular card stock for the card base. I am very sure I will get more than 9 cards out of this kit. The co...

My sister's B-day

Here's the card I made way in advance (finally a card way in advance-thank you) for my sister Kristin's B-day. I wanted to post it earlier but wanted to make sure she saw it in the mail first. Happy Birthday, Kristin!!!! I am so happy I got the Wonderful Favorites stamp set. I love it! After I made this card...which I love very much, I made a bunch of them using different family phrases such as friend, aunt, mother, etc... It was a lot of fun. I love this layout and plan to use it again...so don't be surprised if you see it again! Have a great day! Annette

Just Like You

This set is retiring as it is the Ronald McDonald annual charity set and I will be missing it. I love when SU makes stamp sets match paper so I stocked up on Flowers for You DS paper. But for this particular card I used Spring Break DS paper. It turned out to be one of my fav's that I made in Canada. The other stamp set used to create this card was Fundamental Phrases. Well, no sports today...a free day for all of us!!! We will be heading to town to do a little shopping today! Have a great weekend! Annette

Orange you cute!

I had a bunch of leftover DS paper scraps and used them to create the background of this "orange" card. I added stickles the the orange slice. Another quick and easy card to mass produce to give away as a gift set! Do you think this set will make it into the new catty? Have a great day! Annette

She's a cupcake

Here's the first card I made with the Big Bold Birthday stamp set in honor of my cousin's daughter who is turning the big six next week. I used heat and stick to add glitter to the Three For You flowers and punched them out. I would have used my word window punch for the "make a wish" but I forgot to bring it to Canada....the large oval looks okay, doesn't it? So I ended up making 6 of these cards to go along with the 6 boy versions I made. I love this DS paper...but of course it is retiring. As a matter of fact all DS paper is retiring!!!! Wow, we are going to be busy stocking up on new DS paper soon, ay? Have a great day. I have tons of kid activities today! Annette

Another Tart & Tangy- cherry!

Super easy, super quick and super fun! I love punches, I love matching ink, paper and ribbon! What more could a stampin girl ask for? (except more...tee..hee). Have a great day! See you tomorrow! Annette

Birthday Celebration!

Here's another card I made using the Spring Break DS paper and the Big Bold Birthday stamp set. What took me so long to get this set???? This paper will be gone as it has retiring In Colors in it. I will post again on Monday. Untill then....have a great weekend! Annette
