Today, our youngest becomes a teenager!  Oh my, time goes by so fast!  So thankful to be a mom to three great kids.  Here's a shaker card I made for his special day:

BEST DAY EVER

Hello, crafty friends!  This is the very first weekend I am not running around for a hockey game or tournament.  It actually feels strange to have everyone home! We all did a little bit of cleaning this morning, and then everyone is now enjoying some free time!  My free time was spent creating this:

I used the Best Day Ever SAB stamp set along with the Irresistibly Yours SAB designer series paper and topped it off using the Butterflies Thinlits Dies.  So much fun!  Colors are: Bermuda Bay, Calypso Coral and Crushed Curry.   

This was the first time I have stamped with the Irresistibly Yours DSP (I know gasp...what took me so long?), anyways, I kinda got carried away sponging it and then stamping it.  But, hey isn't that what crafting is all about?  Experimenting. I love experimenting and creating with stamps!

SSC95: Celebrate You

Hello, its time for another color challenge over at Sunday Stamps!  This week we are working with a dark gray, light gray, light blue and vanilla.   Here's the challenge:

I used Basic Gray, Smoky Slate, Soft Sky and Very Vanilla to complete my project.  And here it is:

I used the Crazy About You stamp set (137137) along with the matching Flower Medallion punch (137417) to create the flower and sentiment. I embossed a piece of Soft Sky card stock using the Lovely Lace (133737) embossing folder.  I also added splatter in Smoky Slate ink from the Gorgeous Grunge stamp set(130517), Other accessories are: washi tape, white sequins and basic pearls that I colored with my Smoky Slate Blendabilities (131005).

Eat Cake

Hello!  You aren't going to believe this, but I have another treat bag card to share!  I just can't seem to put the Mini Treat Bag Thinlits die set away! Such a fun way to give a gift card and I have a special someone in mind for this one. Anyways, here it is:

I actually colored the image for a past challenge and ended up not using it for it, and saw it sitting on my desk and decided to make something with it. :)

Be Mine Valentine

Okay, I realize you might be getting a tiny bit sick of just seeing Valentine cards on my blog this week, but I don't have any family here in Minnesota, so I do send out a lot cards. An expected tradition. :) Here's another one I am sending out:

Card supplies for this are all current.  I used Crisp Cantaloup, Calypso Coral and Real Red card stock with the Stacked with Love DSP.

Amazing Super Heros!

Here are two more treat bags I made last Friday for the other two little handsome dudes in my life: Brandon and Aaron.  My brother and sister-in-law are blessed!  Wish I could see them more than I do though.

I used another retired set called "Cool Kid".  Its such a fun set and makes great kid cards.  And there's that lovely Happy Hearts Textured embossing folder. It pairs well with the Mini Treat Bag, doesn't it?  I would show you the inside, but I was quick to write a note on the inside as it is going in the mail. :)

Whale You Be Mine?

Friday afternoon I had a little time to stamp, and I worked on some Valentines for the little one's in my life.  This one is for Hanna; my sweet little niece who is 2 years old.  Love her and miss her so much!

I pulled out one of my retired SU stamp sets called "Oh, Whale" to create this treat bag.  I cut the bag down a bit and it fits a Sweetart candy perfectly.  

So much fun to make. I love the Mini Treat Bag Thinlits Die set!  Have a great Monday, and thanks for stopping by!

Happy Birthday To You

Oh, how I love the Mini Treat Bag Thinlits Die set from the Occasions catalog.  Have I mentioned this before? : )  I haven't had a chance to play with the Irresistibly Yours Specialty DSP yet, so I thought I would make a birthday card using this paper with awesome Mini Treat Bag die set.
 Here it is:

I followed the color challenge at Just Add Ink.  This is Just Add Ink color challenge #248:

I used my reinkers and watercolored on the front of the die cut treat bag and added the "happy" from the Hello You Thinlits, and the remaining words from the matching stamp set called Crazy about You.  So much fun!

Sunday Stamps! challenge #94

Hello!  It's time for another challenge over at Sunday Stamps! :)  This week we have a sketch.  Here it is:

And here's what I made using new Stampin' UP! Occasion and Sale-a-bration catalog goodies: 

My card base is Wild Wasabi cardstock. The designer series paper is the Birthday Bash Specialty DSP from the Occasions catty.  The lemon image is from the FREE SAB set: A Happy Thing, and the sentiment is from the FREE SAB set: Simply Wonderful.  Both were stamped using Tuxedo Black ink and the images were colored with Daffodil Delight, Wild Wasabi and Calypso Coral Blendabilities.  To finish the card off, I colored 3 rhinestones with my Calypso Coral Blendabilities and stapled a piece of Calypso Coral Pompom Trim to the card.  Here is a close up:
