Kind Thanks

This is one of my favorites that I made last Friday. A simple card to recreate. Do you notice how I say this statment often? Yep, I feel I have mastered the WOW stamping, and basically just like to create things that I know I will be able to reproduce with ease. This is one of them.
Of course I still like to make WOW cards...for special occasions and such.

Inspired by Nature, and the new cool Thank You Kindly stamp set...I just love the fonts in this set, they are so pretty. Urban Garden DS paper, chocolate chip and Baja Breeze. I stamped the flower with Baja Breeze ink pad and colored the choc. chip and old olive markers over it. Enjoy the beautiful day! Annette

My Fav to celebrate today

Okay, I saved my favorite card I made for today. This is a GREAT LAYOUT!!!! You must CASE this layout!!!!!

Supplies: Pocket Silhouettes, Starring You and my new favorite wheel: Bella's Border. I used the scallop circle punch and layered it onto the new 1 3/4 inch circle punch. The new circle punch does look nice with the scallop circle punch- don't you think? Colors: Kiwi Kiss and Pacific Point. I actually added 3 old olive brads to the photo corner punch at the top of the card after the picture was taken.

Have a great day. I am off running errands this am. Hopefully one of my stops will include Starbucks....tee hee...hee. Happy Stamping! Annette

Inspired by Pacific Point

Here's a fun card I made last Friday using Pacific Point ink and Patterns paper. Other colors used: Bashful Blue and Basic Black. I sponged white craft and pacific point ink onto pacific point card stock for the "background" and then stamped the flower image in Basic gray and the grass in pacific point. The rest is self explanatory.

It's my sister, Amy's anniversary. She has been married to her hubby, Derek for 14 long years! Happy Anniversary you two! Have a great day everyone! Annette

Pocket Silhouettes

Here's another card I made on Friday using Urban Garden DS paper withe yummy kiwi kiss satin ribbon...do you have it? Put it on your list...it's great! I stamped images in white and embossed them in white and sponged in basic gray, baja breeze and kiwi kiss classic ink onto kiwi kiss card stock. Today should be beautiful, a warm and sunny day! Hope you all get to enjoy it, too! Happy stamping, Annette

Inspired by Nature

I'm glad I waited till the sun came out...finally....to take pictures of the cards I made Friday. This is the Inspired by Nature set with another paper pack I bought- Urban Garden. I also used the Level 1 "Best Yet" stamp set. After I stared at the card for a while, I decided to put brads across the flower...now I'm not sure I like it but....here it is anyway! Enjoy! Annette

Eastern Blooms

Here's the third card I made on Sunday with the left over chocolate chip patterns Ds piece of paper. I grabbed a piece of chocolate chip CS from my "left over" bag and a piece of Baja Breeze was near it. I cut it down to lay perfectly onto of the choc. chip card stock and then layered the leftover choc. chip DS paper on top of it. I thought it looked cool so I grabbed one of the stamp sets I just put together and wha-la ....simple.

I like how it turned out. It looks modern. Something you might see at Target or something like that. Because it was so easy...I will probably make this layout with the other colors of pattern DS paper I have.

No more posts this week. I do hope that by Friday I will get to stamp at least 1/2 the day...I am running out the door now to hopefully finish my tasks at church. Have a great day! Annette

Pocket Silhouettes

Here's a quick card I made right after I made the Bella Toile card below. I used the left over piece of Baja Breeze Patterns DS paper and the left over flower that I did not use. Pocket Silhouettes flower grouping was embossed with chocolate chip craft on some shimmery white card stock (that was laying near me from another project) them I just added the rest. A quick card but fun to make! Have a great day! Annette

True Blue Friend

Last night I finally put my new stamps set together that I purchased from my Open House. The Bella Rose background stamp set was the last one I put together. After I mounted it onto the wood, I decided to stamp the image onto a piece of card stock instead of scratch paper...and then place the sticker on properly. I grabbed a piece of Baja Breeze. Since I had a beautiful image, I decided I needed to make it into a card.

I found that Taken with Teal looks great with Baja Breeze. So here's the card I made. I used the Three For You Level 1 Hostess stamp set to go with it. Notice the ribbon? For fun, I thought scallop edges would look cool, and indeed I think it does! What do you think? Did I start a new trend??? Happy stamping!!!! Annette

Upsy Daisy Birthday card gift set

Well here they are. The only difference I made to the original card that I posted yesterday was tearing the bottom edge of the close to cocoa card stock below the ribbon. I plan to make several more sets of these for gifts sets for Christmas. Of course I will use my whisper white card stock, chocolate chip card stock and the matching kiwi kiss ribbon....now that I have them! tee-hee.

Okay....I have other mom duties to do today which includes getting ready for my teachers Sunday school meeting and making salsa. Hopefully I will be able to make time to stamp next week. Until then, have a blessed weekend everyone! Annette

Upsy Daisy....Hawaii Papaya Ds style!

I think everyone has this set by now...or has at least taken advantage of the discount Stampin' UP! has offered for this beautiful set...if you haven't purchased this set...there still is time. See the "Never Before Seen" special at http://www.stampinup.com/ .

I made this card while in Canada over Labor Day weekend. Problem was (at least for me) that I did not have any chocolate chip card stock, I forgot my craft white pad and embossing powder, and I forgot my whisper white card stock. Plus I did not have kiwi kiss striped ribbon.
Some how I made it through the designing phase of this card using close to cocoa card stock, my vanilla craft pad (without emb. powder) and non SU ribbon. I think it turned out OK. But I do need to make a point here...I know I am spoiled with all of SU's matching products if I am complaining about how this card turned out! There is a significant difference when stamping a solid image on non-SU white card stock...it's just not as clear. Here you can sorta tell, but non- stampers can't!!!!!!
I was immediately attracted to Hawaii Papaya DS paper because I love browns (I wear them a lot) and terracotta. Have you seen my kitchen? Just take a look at the top picture of this blog...that pretty much sums it up...coffee...and those warm colors...colors of fall- they are the best.

After I made this card, I decided to change the background and use all of the different patterns in the Hawaii Papaya DS paper...so the other photo is of my preassembly of it. They all turned out great...however I did not take a picture of the finished product. I will have to do that later and share tomorrow. Till then, enjoy and have a great day! Annette

Say It With Scallops No. 2

Here is the same stamp that instead of using the scallop square punch to punch out with..I used the 1 1/4 " and 1 3/8 " circle punces and layer it onto my scallop circle punch. Heww...that was hard to say! Same stamp sets, layout and colors - just a slightly different look. Oh, and note that I did not have my photo corner punch at the cabin...and I made one by myself- not bad, heh? I also used the white gel pen to dot the row of little flowers from the Boho Background stamp set. Enjoy, and have a great day! Annette

Scallop square punch

I stamped a few cards while in Canada, but mostly swam as it was so warm! I made three cards basically the same as this...just using different stamps and/or arrangements from the Ronald McDonald stamp set. I will show you the others later.

Colors: Baja Breeze, Barely Banana and Kiwi Kiss.

Stamp sets: Say it With Scallops, Punches Three (friend) and Boho Backgrounds.

Accessories: Scallop punch, scallop square punch, 1 1/4 " circle punch, 1/4 inch circle punch, word window punch, soft subtles brads, baja breeze striped ribbon, paper piercer and Hawaii Papaya DS paper.

Can't believe my little guy is in first grade today. It was definitely difficult for me to see him go. Well, back to laundry! Have a great day! Annette
