And here's what I made:
This will be a Mother's Day card for my mother-in-law. My mother passed away 11 years ago, so it actually is not one of my favorite holidays to stamp. But my mother-in-law, Lillian is a sweet woman and I love her dearly. I think she will like this. :)
I watercolored the flowers using the challenge colors of: Pumpkin Pie, Calypso Coral, Pretty in Pink and Old Olive. I stamped the flower image randomly onto Pumpkin Pie cardstock using my Craft white ink pad. I also added little dots using my Chalk Board marker. It's hard to see, but I hand cut 4 little flowers and and popped them up with dimensionals. Fringe scissors for the bottom piece and some Calypso Coral ribbon and a piece of Bakers Twine finish it off.
Thanks for stopping by! Happy Stamping!
Stunning card, Annette! I love how you used the CQ challenge colors, and the randomly stamped flower image in white is a great idea to carry the floral theme on to the background. You MIL will so enjoy this!
