AESTAMPS A LATTE: A Simple Creation

With the One Horse Open Sleigh Designer Series Paper you can make a winter creation in a matter of minutes because the paper is so beautiful and can be paired with just about anything you have. It's deer hunting season here in Minnesota which made me think of the deer from the Grassy Grove Bundle and pairing it with this festive paper.

The One Horse Open Sleigh DSP is an Online Exclusive containing beautiful winter scenes that are perfect for simple layering using any die cut shape you have on hand.

For this layering, I used the Deckled Rectangle Dies and matted it onto a slightly larger Early Espresso cardstock layer.

I made two versions. In the one above I added Wink of Stella to the deer (which I know you can not see in the photo) and then sponged around the edges using Early Espresso ink.

For the one below, I die cut the DSP using the Stitched Rectangle Dies (retired) and sponged the deer with Craft White Ink.

I also embossed the bottom layer using the Snowflake Sky 3D Embossing Folder. Doesn't the embossing just make it pop?! If you have lots of Christmas cards to make, don't rule out this simple layered technique. :)
